Both will probably play but might be less than 100%
I can see Fritsch playing but I would be a little surprised if Viney played. Only hurt his knee two or so weeks ago and hasn't really trained since, we'll see though.

Bought my ticket last night, officially excited to get going now. $20 ($23.50 to be exact) due to being a Bulldogs member is good considering the cheapest adult ticket is otherwise around $80 - why the hell they are so expensive for the MCG? There will only be maybe half of the capacity in there, doesn’t make sense to me

Cheapest reserved seat at the moment is around $50 not 80. That’s not including general admission either which is $27.

I hope Naughton’s used much higher to take May away from their back 50. When May didn’t play last year it all fell apart for them and this year there’s no concern if Naughton isn’t an option deep inside 50.

We do seem to play Naughton high (and Marra high too) with Lobb being the deepest forward.

If May plays the deep forward role he's giving up 17cm to Lobb.

Is it just me or is this Melbourne team stacked ?

  • The best CHB - FB combination in the league
  • The best wing combination in the league
  • Clearly the best one-two punch in midfield, with - Oliver + Petracca
  • The best ruck combination
  • The best small forward
  • A Top 3 medium sized forward in Fritsch

May is one of the best full backs, Lever is pretty good but I think Liam Jones will be better.

Long way from best wing combo Hunter is past his best.

Agree best ruck combo.

Pickett is inconsistent and long way behind Papley

Agree Fristch in top 3.

Yeah. They're quite ridiculous when you put it like that. Tall forwards the obvious weakness but Brown, McDonald and the rotating rucks are more than capable. I think "best small forward" is a bit hyperbolic. He's in the conversation but I'd take Charlie Cameron, Shai Bolton, Tom Papley etc. ahead of him.

Top 3 medium forwards in the comp:

1. Mitch Hannan
2. Isaac Heeney
3. Bailey Fritsch

Whaaaaaat?! I’m a Premiership Gold member and my member number did nothing for me on Tiketek. What kind of membership do you have?

Silver reserved wing + social club

Membership barcode in this box & unlock tickets. If it doesn’t work, then we must have got something added on with the mess around of our membership packs, but I wouldn’t think so

Probably rated Pickett a bit too high.

From all reports Hunter is in the shape of his life. He still young enough to recapture his best form.

Yeah…that definitely didn’t work for me. Ended up paying $50 each for Level 4. I’d happily have paid more for Level 2 but nothing is ever available. Where do all those tickets go?!

I didn’t try, assuming you had to have a 18 game membership.

It’s what you get for being a basket case for over a decade.

Lever has had one elite year and otherwise been good but not amazing. Their season fell away last year once May missed a few games.

Langdon plays an important role for them but he’s definitely gotten a good team bump to his reputation. Those two are clearly behind more damaging combos like McCluggage & Bailey for me. Probably others if I think about it.

Would like to see how Grundy and Gawn go first. They’re definitely the most talented pair of ruckmen. But one or both will have to excel at other things this year.

Pickett is great but there are other small forwards clearly ahead of him imo.

To put people's minds at rest, you don't need to reserve a seat.

$27 for General Admission and $5 for kids.
$54 for 2 adults and 2 kids.

A $3.50 booking fee in total, not per ticket.

There will be plenty of seats in the Ponsford Stand

Bulldogs have

Best Tall Forward Quartet
Best Indigenous Ginger Key Backman
Best Trio of Baileys
Most Uncanny Game of Thrones Lookalike
Best player with a 6+ inch nose
Best dwarf
Best player with bleached hair over 200cm
Nailed it. Amazing how the media pundits overlook this stuff.
What could go wrong?

With our new set up I prefer Naughton deep with Lobb and Jamarra pushing up for options.

No idea for level 2, but I assume they are probably Demons/home team allocation. I selected the WB allocation as I’m going by myself, so I don’t want to be surrounded by gremlins

My comment re: $70 odd being the cheapest was for public reserve, but yes GA is cheaper if you aren’t fussed about where to sit.

I guess we also have the away games package because we’ve got Ballarat games also included
