2 changes for me, Bramble out Wingard in but Wingard plays sub for the next 3 games if not longer & Finn out for Seamus

Reckon we need a HHF marking option on the wide expanses of the G. Too much 'on ya bike' for the "resting" ruckman, so genuinely curious to see what the brains trust cooks up during the week
York Park - 170 x 140
MCG - 160 x 141

North fans are trying to get Newcombe rubbed out for a chicken wing, does anyone think it is suspendable
Just found a clip of it. Looked ok until the last second. Where it then doesn’t look great. People have gone for similar.

MRP is a mixed bag though. As easy get nothing vs a week or two.

No where near as bad as Judds. Hopefully it’s deemed he didn’t pull the arm back far enough. Or that there was no injury.

After seeing yeah, it might get him a week or 2, and it might get him a fine.

Cooper Stephens will be waiting patiently.

Hopefully not but wait and see I guess. His role yesterday was crucial. As our midfield gets stronger and we get better half forward flank will suit him

He played a really selfless game yesterday. At times he was playing like an undersized CHF just bringing the ball to ground. Deserved a second goal late that he missed.

Hopefully just a fine.

I'll be making the trip down.

Only other Easter Monday game I've been to was 2016 which was an incredible spectacle but ended up in defeat.

A repeat of last year please.

The Chicken wing wasn't so bad until the very end, when he lifted the arm up towards the vertical. Until then he was just holding the arm.

The last bit was unnecessary, and might see him miss a week.

Fine worthy.

Not a great look but thankfully zero damage / discomfort.

No idea what he was doing it for.

Nothing in this whatsoever.

If he gets suspended it's a joke and if we don't appeal again like the Worpel case from 2 years ago I'll be fuming.

Newk will get cited for that. Hopefully a fine, but reckon that might be a week. We will need his hardness and impact against Geelong so fingers crossed

In slow-mo you can ask that question.

In real time he had an arm pinned in a tackle and the incident in question wasn't even played out entirely in the footage we're seeing.

If he lets go immediately it's easy to argue he was just using the player on the ground as leverage to stand up. Which I'd say is exactly what happened.

Off topic, but this is what you get with atrocious umpiring not paying HTB most of the day. Players get fiercer and fiercer trying to tackle. Umpiring was appalling yesterday. Not biased. Just crap.

Hopefully Geelong win tomorrow (feel dirty saying that) because they will be beyond desperate otherwise.

If fit, Finn stays in to do a job on Guthrie, Duncan or Izzy. No Stewart and a clearly underdone Porkins helps us also.

Wingard stays out for mine. Brocky’s game today was better than anything Chad has produced for a long while. Would be good to have another tall to negate the easy marks in their D50 but tough to drop anyone after today.

This will be a great test of how we backup a good performance against an experienced side who will get their customary 2-3 goal advantage from the umps.

Go Hawks.
