You had to start over 2 years before you did. You have a lopsided list with no star quality in the middle.

Lol. It’s this game on top of the last 2+ years of playing old fashioned footy with an inadequate list - the embedding of comfort - this game is the inevitable result of that. The players we’ve got out wouldn’t make much difference.

The first part of this season has been significantly different to the previous 1.5 seasons and we copped injuries to a third of the team in the derby. You're either trolling or not paying attention. I suggest adjusting your expectations or you may as well turn the TV off for the rest of the season. What this game is inevitable of is having to play a number of non-best-22 players against a good team. I expect things will look a little better when we have Shuey and Edwards back in particular.

We're s**t and going up against last year's premier, with raft of injuries. We were always going to get flogged, having a mostly inexperienced bunch of players on every line will exacerbate it.

Ultimately, who cares? Qe want the best draft picks over the next 2-3 years. This is how the system works.

While this is somewhat true the really good clubs since we were last a really good club (mid 2000’s) don’t accept this as inevitable.

With a competent coach the entire team would be putting in effort and Geelong would only be ahead by 20-30 points
