It was Pavlich-like in the sense it sometimes had a man against boys feel. (To echo the great Huddo call in a game long ago.)Imma stay in my safe space in this thread, on review, I don’t think there has been a more physically dominant performance in purple since prime Fyfe than what Jackson just gave us. I know it was the Hawks but he just took the piss some times, he could be something special in a year or two
What’s great about LJ looking in from the outside is this (and I’ll try be as respectful as possible to him) - all of the west Australian media crap about him is probably completely irrelevant. I doubt it affects any other player less. I know a young lady who knows him well and yep ……. That pretty much sums him upWhat’s great about LJ looking in from the outside is this (and I’ll try be as respectful as possible to him) - all of the west Australian media crap about him is probably completely irrelevant. Well, the kid doesn’t strike me as the intellectual type that’s spends to much time pouring over the daily newspaper each morning while sipping his latte, keeping up with the goings on of the world. I reckon he’s gloriously oblivious.
The w***ers in the Worst trying to tear his confidence down with their articles and vitriol and he probably doesn’t even know those articles were ever even written!
He’s just there to play footy, train hard and be with his mates. I suspect he might be one of those who is quietly happy in his bubble off the field and wouldn’t know or care if people are praising of criticising him.
Which is perfect really, given the circumstances he joined the club.
It’s ideal. He’s a brilliantly skilled footballer and he’s got great in-game intelligence.I know a young lady who knows him well and yep ……. That pretty much sums him up

As a fan that’s where it begins and ends for me. I don’t need to hear an interview with Luke for his entire AFL career. Unless he wins a Brownlow lol
... told you
Yep - you called it waaaay back.
I was with you, but not as convinced. I don't think we needed to give quite as much as we did. Having said that, He was ridiculous at times on the weekend and add to that the way he tackles and he is imposing.
Got a good turn of speed too.
He is fast like a Greyhound but strong like a Clydesdale.Yeah or agility? Either way combined with his strength it seems clear he is bloody hard to stop.
If he gets 5-10% better with the handball it will get ridiculous.
Omeara was goodAnother + for me was O’Mearas game. Thought he was very good and JL made mention of the time it takes for for new players to gel with the rest of the group.
Dogga’s affable boofheadedness should not be confused for anything other than what it is: unpretentious good bloke.
He’s from East Fremantle. He’s better than you.

The tackling in this game in general was outstandingGood old fashioned team confidence booster, Jackson the perfect roaming CHF, tackles like an absolute mad man. Leave Amiss and Treacy at home while he gets out and about. Looks like the balance in the front half is coming together inch by inch.
