The triplets: Hughes, Brayshaw & Banfield were all good again.
Treacy, best game I have seen from him.
Walker, great job on a very good player.
Cox & Pearce, excellent games.
Clark fought a tag & contributed
Erasmus, some beast moments, like when he ripped the ball away from Rowbottom (I think), who is a very strong at the contest player
Jackson, the unicorn has been released.
Amiss, apart from a couple of misses, is turning into a star.
Schultz just works so hard & today got the reward.
O'Meara very, very good.
O'Driscoll some nice moments
Serong, if his points become goals, becomes a top 7 in the AFL mid.
Darcy, the colossus a clear BOG. Amazing game

I didn't watch first qtr so that sucks. This is a reason why need to develop Johnson and rotate Young through the centre. Idk if our mids can improve I50 kicks if they haven't already.
Still think you could rotate Fyfe and Young.
Fyfe gets lost or not as involved forward. In play where the action is he can ply his trade.

Positive
I haven’t watched the game yet but know the result
Always a lot less nerve racking 😁

Looking forward to this evening

I was surprised Ras got subbed as I thought he played well. I guess it was either him or one of the KPFs but they were working so well.
I don't think he was subbed because of how he was playing. It was just a case of needing someone to sub off. JL was asked about it and said he'd make the sub during the third, but waited until after because perhaps hadn't decided who was coming off. Fyfe playing more midfield meant one of them had to come off and giving Ras some rest isn't the worst thing.

How lucky are we to have a 20yo with less than 25 games of men's footy under his belt who's averaging 28 possessions a game sitting in the wings and developing at a rapid rate!

Karl Worner could become another gem that our recruitment team have picked from obscurity onto our rookie list.

If he continues to develop his game as he is, it's hard to see him not nailing down a wing spot in our firsts.

Never seen him play. Who does he play like?

The highlight for me was watching Treacy impose himself,I really want him to workout for us and he will .I think he ended Tabs career yesterday
When he took the hanger in the first it was like he was declaring that he belonged as a long-term player.

Just realised that North pinching that win off us may end up costing them the Harley, which would be frankly hilarious if he is as good as they say.
The rest of this year will be an epic battle between the Toast, Norf, and Hawtank to see who can lose how many games by the greater margins. If we allowed own goals to count for 6 points for the other team, I reckon you'd see three teams backwards kicking all day every day from here.

Will greatly impact the bottom two who wind up making the 8 - those lucky enough to play all 3 teams twice this year get huge percentage boosts...

Especially when the focus and discussion during the last few weeks have been specifically his ability to mark it. Some referred to him as "concrete hands". Obviously it's still an area to work on but it was kind of the last piece of the puzzle in terms of whether he'd make it or not. He already has size, speed, aggression and a decent kick but being able to take pressure-releasing pack marks on the wing is a crucial asset for a roaming fwd like Josh. The running bounce was delightful too.

Him and Jackson are going to absolutely menace backlines in the future with their size and mobility.

I'm going to spin this as a positive. Up until recently when we've been counting our blessings in terms of the young players coming through the name Chapman was usually one of the first mentioned. Since his less than stellar start to the year and then long term injury he's not being talked about much which is understandable, but he is still, in terms of raw talent potentially going to end up in the top 6 or so players on our list with Serong, Brayshaw, Young, Amiss, NOD, MJ, Erasmus etc.

I think it’s important for our 2024 onward prospects that Chappy gets back and plays 8 or 10 more games this season.
He’s already missed a lot of footy though injury for a young lad

As of right now our current leading goal scorers are:
1. Jye Amiss (16)
2. Lachie Schultz (16)
3. Michael Walters (16)
4. Michael Frederick (13)
5. Luke Jackson (12)

That is beautiful, especially Amiss being on top. For reference as well, Rory Lobb has 11 for the year.

He is that good from what I have seen of him (only 1 live game) & as for positives, the triplets: Hughes, Brayshaw & Banfield were all good last night. I even found a way to get Bailey into the votes
