Funny how the 'common denominator' moved to a club that's won 6 games in a row and all the innocent parties are all sitting at a club that's lost 7 games in a row and all look like they'd rather be doing anything than playing football, isn't it? Yeah I get it. The production people want atmosphere when they place the microphones. They ended up (IMO) with enhanced barracking both ways. Still better (again IMO) than sounding like a crowd from Div 3 SAAFL* game.

Was a weird game. They put in a few cheapies, but not on JHF. He got battered 4-5 times, got up, did his job without fanfare. Meanwhile there guys were pinging muscles everywhere trying to keep up with us. Didn't seem to give a s**t about JHF at all. For players that supposedly hate him and go to bed dreaming of beating him up, they sure seemed cordial towards him today.

Smart move by them - likely under instruction by Clarko. Imagine going all gung ho on JHF and then getting smashed by 70 points. Conversation would be all about that.

The "targeted" players are being well protected by the umpires these days as well, so there's nothing to be gained apart from giving away free kicks. The days of roughing up a player seem to be behind us.

I don't understand Port fans egging the Roos on about the lack of aggression - it was in everyone's best interest. No need to rib them for doing the right thing.

Now that is over with I reckon he is going to have a big one on Friday night.

They'd looked forward to JHF being roughed up since the day he was traded and half of them expected that they'd at least put up a fight against us and show some shinboner spirit.
Neither of those things happened and now they've been left with collective blue balls. They've got nothing to look forward to until the draft.
