Or maybe the problem is a moron doesn't actually understand my point as well as the moron thinks
Or maybe a moron doesn't understand that the messaging wasn't really about 1 covid death being terrible, but that it wasn't going to be 1 covid death.

Mrs35 is in QLD for a few weeks after our gorgeous new grandson was born❤️. So I’ve been ’roughing‘ it batching for the past 2 weeks. Ahh bliss.
Im retired but do a casual school bus run and the company sponsor at todays race meet so we get a fully catered day out at the course in the sponsors rooms. Free beers, food and a bus doing the rounds picking up and dropping home for whoever wants it. Supposed to be a cracker of a south coast day at 18 degrees as well.
Covid still live and ‘well’ around hear with less of the early hysteria, is Wordle still about or some new trending thing going?
Fly up in a few weeks to see the grandies which will be awesome. Also theme park it 😍

After effects of lockdown. And maybe Vax adverse effects. Dr John is a good reporter on such matters...

omg he’s a know spreader of misinformation. He doesn’t know why Pfizer didn’t test for transmission and either can’t read studies or deliberately pushes his own narrative by lying when describing them.

The problem with the Covid talk is it stirs up a range of opinions, some actually valid.
Best avoided in a footy thread.
Have all these posts complaining about covid talk been moved to this thread? Because looking at them now, it's kind of strange people are complaining about covid talk in a covid thread!

Nothing on BF is " kind of strange" - it's all just BAU here - day in day out - BF BAU

Pineapple is a big no-no.
A former American colleague from the 70s recently visited from the USA with his wife. For dinner, I guided them to Topolinos in Fitzroy St as they fancied pizza and pasta. We had a momentary wait next to the pizza oven to be seated, which gave Tim enough time to see that this place was fairly serious about its pizzas.

Once we were seated, the waitress arrived to take our orders. Tim's wife ordered pasta, then Tim announced that he wanted a custom made pizza - ham and pineapple. 'It's already on the menu', the waitress told him. 'It's called an Hawaiian pizza here'.

I couldn't believe the guy had lived here for 4 years back in the late 70's, when I am sure Hawaiian pizzas were widely available.

Years ago, a bunch of friends and I used to got to Toto's to top up on our nutrition before a big night out.
One friend, a rather large fellow, would always order a large Hawaiian or tropical, or whatever they called it, and fold two slices over and eat it like a sandwich.
