Hopefully clarko back after the bye

Get Everyone back after the break with a new refreshed outlook on the final 9 games

Don't hold your breath.
Whatever he has done with the club in his short tenure, along side his mates in Brett and Todd.. they have seriously ****ing moved the barge from the Suez Canal. Its a ****ing pleasure watching us play at the moment. Wins would be nice but **** its so good being competitive

Old man reckons Clarko is fine but had to prove ‘pain and suffering’ for any potential court case and will be back with a vengeance. He can be a bit cynical but I gave it some thought.

I reckon Clarko would have been back by now if that were true. Plus the whole chair thing.

Also, in the recent letter I don’t think Sonja would have had to say he’ll be back if she knew he was only coming back this/next week. Which makes me believe there’s a lot more to go :(

Ratts has done a fantastic job holding the fort, but I'm equally happy to see the coach we hope to see longterm success with coming back into the fold.
Totally, but most clubs these days have more than one experienced senior coach on the books and if we took a vote of members right now, Ratts would be overwhelmingly supported as the North Melbourne assistant.

Same here. Said all along Ratts was insurance - brilliant work from Sonja. He impresses and we are in good hands right now. Hopefully Clarko is back later in the season and we have two quality blokes coaching the team.

Garry Lyon spoke this morning saying he had caught up with Clarko a couple of weeks ago and was certain he'd be back at North.

Seems to be the general consensus from those who have been in contact with Clarko since he has stepped aside
Saw that

Didn’t realise clarko and Gaz were that close

Remember when they shat on her for not having a plan B?

KANGAS COACH BEGINS COMEBACK

ALASTAIR Clarkson has begun his slow transition back into football, spending time in Queensland this week with North Melbourne's recruiting team at the national under-18s carnival.

Clarkson was spotted alongside Kangaroos recruiters Scott Clayton and Will Thursfield at Brighton Homes Arena on Sunday watching the Allies' big win over Vic Metro, having taken time away from the game to focus on his mental health recently.

North Melbourne announced last week that Clarkson would return over the next month, but would undertake a gradual integration back into coaching. The club said his initial focus would include game analysis, but wouldn't feature a match-day role.

The Kangaroos currently hold pick No.2 in this year's draft with Allies guns Jed Walter and Colby McKercher, as well as Vic Metro forward Nick Watson, likely to feature in their thinking should they elect to retain that selection.

Clarkson announced he would take time away from the game back in May as he focused on his mental and physical wellbeing, with Brett Ratten stepping in as the club's caretaker coach throughout that period. – Riley Beveridge
