That game will do his all Australian prospects no harm. Absolute weapon, would love another prospect in his mould. Tall, rangy, elite endurance who is versatile. Elijah Hollands could be one? Otherwise would love to target this type in the draft.

Seems this articles sole purpose was to be given an excuse to speculate on his next contract which isn't up until the end of next season.

No other sports media carries on about player movement in season quite like AFL journos.

I'm just watching the replay, and there seems to be a correlation between his improved performance and his declining standard of haircut
The issue as I see it is that he’s not a really good looking guy to start with. You can rock an ironic haircut when you are Kyle Langford or Archie Perkins….but when Blackadder (season 1 version mind you) is an apt comparison, you need everything you can control working in your favour.

But AFL so he’s knee deep in babes anyway….🤷‍♂️

Coming like a freight train for the AA wing spot.

Gulden doing a touch more damage by foot and winning it more often, but he's also in at centre bounces 40 times more than Martin is, so there's an argument to say he doesn't actually play on the wing enough.

Daicos is playing a key role in the best side in the comp and is obviously uber clean and very good but to be honest he doesn't have a statistical marker he can hang his hat on.

Martin is winning a bit less footy but his kick and handball efficiency is the highest out of all 3, he's marking the footy more, he's joint top for goals and clearly out in front for goal assists and he's also streets ahead for spoils and 1%ers, so he's getting back and supporting as well.

Daicos on one wing, Martin on the other, Gulden in the rat race for a half forward flank or bench spot with Butters, Trac, Greene and Rozee for me.

Seems to have had a role change, another case of underutilisation of ones best talents
His best traits have been taken down by sides playing a much more defensive role on him in the last 6 weeks so they have tried to get something out of him from half forward.
