Aliir does grab and he does push but he's no orphan - all the defenders do it to a certain degree. If you called out a Melbourne based player like this there would be hell to pay. Thanks for that. Wow just wow.
How good it must be to be able to crucify a player without showing video evidence so it can be assessed rationally in context and with comparisons.
And Healey's evidence - Aliirs opponent (Casboult) appealed. Case closed.
Eddie Betts on AFL360 says that GCS should have been 5 goals ahead of Port Adelaide at half time on Saturday.
Think the enduring impact of that Crows Camp is there for all to see.
FMD - 5 goals????
Its the oil.Wonder what makes allir different to Tom Hawkins that an old white guy would notice
Didn't he watch the game against the SUNS? This has already happened.I've just listened to Gerard Healy calling on the umpires to pay freekicks against Aliir Aliir for pushes and holding.
Sounds like we've passed the past where we are in the exciting to watch phase and now the media would like us put back in our non threatening 5-10th on the ladder place
People are talking about it now you know what that means.I actually do think Aliir pushes quite a bit and gets away with it. I know i've been waiting for the whistle with a sense of dread, to be surprised when it never comes.
Having said that, about time we had a player who gets away with something.
People are talking about it now you know what that means.
Unfortunately, yes.People are talking about it now you know what that means.
Buddy's NaTuRaL ArCSchulz’s sly sidesteps and Jasper’s premature ballbag come to mind
Buddy's NaTuRaL ArC
Andrew Moore thrown into the ovens for being pushed into an umpire in the SANFL.That whole ‘unsociable football’ era was wild. Hawthorn celebrated for being egregious rule-benders, while Matt Thomas is suspended for being jostled into an umpire running backwards by Brad Sewell, and Kane Cornes with a hitherto spotless record is suspended for shoving Sam Mitchell.
I've just listened to Gerard Healy calling on the umpires to pay freekicks against Aliir Aliir for pushes and holding.
I would think its unprecedented that a media person calling on the umpires to go after a specific player. This isn't diving it's paying frees in the play.
Poor Gerard
