How good it must be to be able to crucify a player without showing video evidence so it can be assessed rationally in context and with comparisons.

Aliir does grab and he does push but he's no orphan - all the defenders do it to a certain degree. If you called out a Melbourne based player like this there would be hell to pay.

He has a point, maybe not 5 goals but at least 3, Port were pretty shocking in the first half but so were gold coast forwards bar the casboult.

How they got to sacking their coach afterwards beggars belief but they appear to have made a number of poor choices in the last 12 months.

Would be quite funny if both Richmond and Gold Coast made the finals with interim coaches.

I actually do think Aliir pushes quite a bit and gets away with it. I know i've been waiting for the whistle with a sense of dread, to be surprised when it never comes.

Having said that, about time we had a player who gets away with something.

I've just listened to Gerard Healy calling on the umpires to pay freekicks against Aliir Aliir for pushes and holding.

I would think its unprecedented that a media person calling on the umpires to go after a specific player. This isn't diving it's paying frees in the play.

Razor Ray is one of the umps for our game - hopefully he might have a "stuff you, Healy" attitude, but there's still three others...
