Love watching Melbourne lose. They are so incredibly unlikeable

Completely agree, screw them. Especially after what happened at the bank earlier this year. Can’t stand them.Love watching Melbourne lose. They are so incredibly unlikeable
Brisbane had played in finals for the previous three years, including making a preliminary final. 1998 was a bad year but was a blip, due to post-merger player factionalism, relationships with and between coaches, and a significant injury to Michael Voss. Not saying Gold Coast can't rise up the ladder but the circumstances are quite different.Watch some of the games Brisbane played in 1998 when they finished bottom of the ladder and you'll see how quickly this can improve with a good coach. The Lions got the spoon that year and they had the vast majority of their triple premiership players on that list already.

7 goals from 69 inside 50s. Now that’s real footy.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen such a selfish collection of forwards in a team.
Hopefully they get done next week so we don’t have to watch too much more of that.
The culture was set up correctly from the start at GWS. They had the highly successful coaches in Kevin Sheedy and Choco Williams making sure everything was done correctly and the foundations were strong to ensure the good team culture we see to this day. We had a rookie coach in Guy McKenna who had really achieved nothing and the one assistant coach we had that was highly rated was Ken Hinkley but we weren't willing to pull the trigger when his time came so Hinkley went to another club and proved to be a success.Watching the Giants gives you hope that maybe a change in coaching philosophy really is all that’s needed for us to climb the ladder.
They are fantastic to watch. They still have a lot of experienced players who are exceptionally good like Green, Whitefield, Kelly etc. who are able to carry the team.
Makes a big difference and something we seriously lack, with only Miller there. Let’s the younger players just play their role and share the load.
When GWS are on, they are good to watch.
Love how clubs like North, genuine cellar dwellers, get linked to good trade pick ups every year. And they want additional assistance when they can attract legitimate players?
Geard Healy brings it up everytime he commentates how close the Swans were to drafting Flanders, big miss by them, and a great get by us

Yeah fair. Might have jumped on the hyperbole there.Good?
I wouldn't be calling Dylan Stephens good.
If he couldn't progress in the Swans program, he's not good.

Was talking up Flanders to my Crows mate all draft, went with McAsey.... and Flanders would be perfect in their midfield right now.Geard Healy brings it up everytime he commentates how close the Swans were to drafting Flanders, big miss by them, and a great get by us
Only linked to Dusty, Prestia & Rance with a good cap now........Yeah fair. Might have jumped on the hyperbole there.
It was more a general comment on their ability to attract players from other states each year, even when they are a shamble of a club. Granted not always A graders, but their clubs is at least linked to players.
Besides the same Dusty rumours over the last few years, we get crickets.
Looking like it was an elite draft, crows and Sydney have missed big time. Was talking up Flanders to my Crows mate all draft, went with McAsey.... and Flanders would be perfect in their midfield right now.
