Team makes sense, but for me (whilst getting it) can really feel for Kemp and Owies... but it's a good side. Here's where good team spirit (eg, JSOS last week) is so important. Stronger together.

The forwards are a no brainer. I love Hollands in for more run and Boyd helps match up on Lions small forwards and provide some run. Releases Saad as well

Kemp unlucky but it’s about what’s best to win and I believe we have done that

We are still massively strong and tough in contested ball but have added run and goalkicking power.

Personally my thoughts:

We had one too many tall defenders so I'm happy we dropped one (I know many said they are hybrid talls etc)
Joel Smith had a big game on Kemp last week.... I'd still be on Kemp watch as a late in for Marchbank/Cincotta (both in some doubt?) as he's the only defender on the emergency list (vale Fish)

I think there's some shenangians in play for Doc.... I really wouldn't be surprised to see one of Owies/Cuningham in for Doc as a late change. I just can't imagine Doc playing much half-forward (and that's with Cottrell playing entirely forward)

Feel for Owies and Kemp. But it was between FoG who brings heat and can attend CBA's and Motlop who was good last week.

Kemp or Marchbank is a hard one but considering the lion's smaller forward line smart call. Boyd was very unlucky to get suspended when he did. Love Boyd.

Good problems to have.

Think Owies is stiff, not based on last week but body of work

Kemp or Marchbank. Kemp more aggressive, Marchbank better defensive mindset. A coin toss for me

No slight on any player, but think it is the most dangerous, consistent, defensively disciplined side we have named all year

Prob came down to who was the better match up for Hipwood, Marche is only 1cm taller which surprised me but certainly plays taller.

Owies hasn’t looked dangerous for awhile. Motts deserves the spot if we’re only playing one small.

Kemp has been a liability .. every time I watch him I shiver … for mine him or Marchbank and they went with Marchbank .. owies a bit unlucky and boyd lucky but I like the team as it has more pace and will match up against brisbane better

I honestly can’t understand the changes.
Owies has been pivotal to our team and needed as a small if Harry and Martin come back in. Too slow now and not enough forward pressure.

Kemp and our backline in general have been great, dunno why they would change it up now. Boyd hasn’t played for a while and now coming in for a prelim is crazy in my eues
