I reckon all KPF would be circling the dates they play North because with that backline I reckon at least one team will come close to putting up 200 points

That 23 ****ing SUCKS!

Like KermitJagger I just assumed they were more promising. They're genuinely a shout at finishing below WCE.

Is Mike Sheahan serious with this shit?

In January 2016, three judges of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, an organisation based in Europe, had determined the 34 Essendon players violated the AFL’s anti-doping policy.

Yet, in March the previous year, the AFL anti-doping Tribunal had handed down a “not guilty” judgment on all the available evidence. The World Anti-Doping Authority appealed the AFL decision to CAS and won.

How, then, did the Court of Arbitration find to the contrary? Who knows, but WADA wanted blood.

Read the ****ing judgement, Mike, you senile old bat. It details why they were found guilty. Why did the AFL find them not guilty? The AFL ducking for cover on a scandal - who ever would have thought! CAS and WADA took responsibility because the AFL and ASADA were neglectful at best but outright corrupt at worst (and most likely. Thankfully CAS and WADA take their role seriously and banned the players as they should have.

Administering mysterious pharmaceuticals en masse to players off site doesn’t sound kosher, but that doesn’t mean it makes them perform beyond their natural capabilities

Seriously, Mike? Let's look at the numbers and see if Jobe's stats mysteriously spike in 2012 only to go downhill afterwards...

Well, would you look at that. Those stats in 2012 are a bit of a spike after all. Mike goes on to mention that Jobe had to be great because he won some B&F awards in a team that wasn't making finals. Yes, Mike, because there have never, ever been average footy players who have won multiple B&F awards because they happen to be pretty consistently goodish in an average side.

Honestly I am all the dumber for reading that and am a bit worried that he's raided Tony's medicine cabinet.

I saw the headline and assumed it had to be Mark Robinson or another of the Essendon buffoons.

I’m glad you highlighted the numbers to stop be going back through them again. They were cheating, no one who had half a brain or isn’t sipping on that Bonber look aid could believe other wise.

He cheated, they cheated they don’t deserve ****ing anything and if anything got away lightly.

Bit of a waste of mikes time writing that, Jobe will never lay his fingers on Sam Mitchell’s Brownlow ever again :)

How anyone can write that and not seeing the contradiction is amazing to me.

I like the bit where he mentions that CAS is based in Europe with some odd implication that this means they are wrong/incompetent. It’s not as if most of our rule of law stems from Europe or anything.

That article looks like a copy and paste of some of the more demented Bombres Twitter crowd just with the swearing removed and spelling fixed.

Honestly, if you're McStay do you convince the surgeon to perform the synthetic graft that gets you back quicker?

It's riskier, but for the sake of finding success in his career it might be his best option.

Collingwood will be right in the window to go back to back next year. He actually gives himself a chance of possibly playing in a Premiership if he gets back as quickly as possible.

Had he played in this seasons flag it wouldn't be worth considering.

Yeah, but he's still got his own so he can pat that if he ever gets lonely.

It's even better that he followed it up with this sentence:
Administering mysterious pharmaceuticals en masse to players off site doesn’t sound kosher, but that doesn’t mean it makes them perform beyond their natural capabilities.

Why would you even do this if you weren't trying to make them perform better......

Odds are he comes back and does it again in no time and ends up missing even more time than if he had just got it done normally.

He’s only 28 so still got plenty of time left. Without considering his time after footy which is every bit as important if not more important.

Yeah, there's either a screw lose or Robbo has got something on him.

Thought he had to hand it back in?

Apparently he did return it, shame it was after mitch was presented with his, they could have melted down Jobe's medal to make the medals for the non drug cheating winners

I’m glad Sammy and Cotchin don’t have any taint on their medals - instead they could melt Jobe’s down and make little ceremonial syringes to present to Robbo, Demetriou, Hird and Thompson to remind them of the pricks they are.

I’m half asleep and reading this I thought you were insinuating that he melts his brownlow down and injects it into robbo, Demetriou, Hird and Thompson.

It's amazing isn't it?

There's a whole universe of stuff to write about in the AFL. There are some very interesting scandals and things happening right now. But this dude, with all his reputation and history, decides to go back 8 years and dig up a story, with an opinion, that has been presented a million times before.

I don't even care that it's an old story - but this guy can literally write about anything he wants and people will sit up and listen. Why do the drug saga/brownlow story AGAIN?

Geez the AFL media is in an absolute spiral
