Bit harsh on a kid who hasn't played a game, I feel like both West Coast and North Melbourne will end up looking back fondly on who they drafted.

Whether he becomes an all time legend, a good player or a spud will remain to be seen.

But you only have to watch a little bit of YouTube stuff to see that a Jack Watts comparison is silly. He showed more grit and mongrel and combustion in one of those 3 minute vids than poor old Jack did in his decade in the comp.

Reid looks like he put on size to me.

He's gone to WA as a kid from Vic and taken it on himself to help lift them out of the doldrums. All respect to him, especially if he becomes a star, with all the pressure over there.

People are desperate for a win, any win. The number 1 pick (not ours) being shit and the number 2 pick (ours!!!!!1) being good would be a win.

Almost all the 'wins' we've had the last few years have turned around and done us dirty in the afterglow. Get clarko? Hawthorn racism saga. Get GENERATIONAL TALENT JHF? Gives us the arse. TT shows some astoundingly elite glimpses, next season out for half the year with his bs. Then looking good in the preseason and the show starts again. Hell even when we win a ****ing game after 300 losses in a row half the supporter base are complaining it means we don't get the number one pick.

People have gone insane.

I think the Reid and McKercher situation worked out well for both clubs. Both should be great players and I doubt either club will regret their choice.

I saw some footage of Nick Watson the other day, and that's the player who is giving me FOMO. I'm very happy with Duursma, but Watson is as electric as advertised.
