Thats a lot of money for essentially a one year breakout. Worth every penny if he continues on with last season however.
He's been steadily progressing and has the personality that would lead you to believe he won't just take it easy now he's been paid, but yes it is definitely a risk paying someone at the top of the market (if you don't count Donald and Jones) coming off their only elite year

Dr. Megan L. Garcia, a general surgeon at Kansas City's Grossman Burn Center, told Fox 4 this week that 70% of the medical center's patients referred for frostbite injuries suffered at the January wild-card game are "being advised to schedule amputations." This comes months after Garcia indicated she'd already seen dozens of frostbitten patients as a result of the game's conditions.

Some Chiefs, Dolphins fans who attended record-cold playoff game now need amputations, per report

And what happens to the 30% of Dr Garcia's frostbite patients who avoid amputations, you ask?

The estimated 30% lucky enough to avoid amputation after undergoing treatment the past few weeks in hyperbaric oxygen tanks will have plenty of reminders of their frostbite injuries.
“It’s still a lifelong process. They’ll have sensitivity and pain for the rest of their lives and always will be more susceptible to frostbite in the future. So we are also educating them to make sure they stay warm for the years and months to come,” Garcia said.

The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports the Steelers are open to hearing trade offers for Diontae Johnson.
Johnson has been somewhat vocal in recent years over his displeasure with the Steelers’ offense and quarterback struggles. Earlier this offseason, he advocated for the team to bring back Mason Rudolph in hopes he would be the team’s starter in 2024. In five seasons with the Steelers, Johnson has totaled 391 receptions for 4,363 yards and 25 touchdowns. After going for 882 scoreless yards in 2022, he bounced back in 2023 with a line of 51-717-5 in 13 games while averaging a career-high 14.1 YPR. The soon-to-be 28-year-old receiver would likely have a strong trade market, as teams are always looking to add reliable receivers on the outside. Per ESPN receiver analytics, Johnson graded out as the sixth-best receiver when combining one’s ability to get open, catch passes and create after the catch.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Haason Reddick “has permission to facilitate a trade” from the Eagles.
Reddick is one of two Eagles pass rushers who could be on the move this offseason. After reports that the team was taking calls for Josh Sweat, Rapoport announced that Reddick, who has totaled 11 or more sacks in each of his last four seasons, has also been given permission to seek a trade. After spending the first five years of his career with the Cardinals and Panthers, Reddick has spent the last two seasons with the Eagles. He’s played in all 34 regular season games over that span while also totaling 27 sacks and earning back-to-back Pro Bowl nominations. With one more year left on his current contract, Reddick, who will turn 30 in September, can likely be had for a reasonable price given. his expiring deal.
