You obviously missed the cooking shows in the 80s with Peter Russell Clark.Soft!?
Notes from his game V the Rebels last week. Seems to be playing a bit more ruck lately. 10 games for the Pioneers this season and has been in the bests 6 times. I reckon he'll end up on our list.Anyone got any updates on Zaydyn Lockwood?
Crazy stats really. Dont see many tackles games outweigh possessions hahaNotes from his game V the Rebels last week. Seems to be playing a bit more ruck lately. 10 games for the Pioneers this season and has been in the bests 6 times. I reckon he'll end up on our list.
#44 Zaydyn Lockwood
Ruck/Forward | 198cm | 25/01/2006
Stats: 9 disposals, 14 tackles, 10 hitouts
Had a tough battle against Penry but competed hard and then rotated forward as well. A raw talent with natural athletic attributes, Lockwood’s stats with ball-in-hand might not leap off the page, but his ground level work from a defensive standpoint was terrific. Lockwood laid a game-high 14 tackles – double the next highest player – and was not afraid to get his hands dirty, though also moved well in transition. He tended to do the smaller player tasks the best.
Only 16 years old, so could grow more175cms!!!!!

Is Armstrong a NGA? Based on current rules we could only het him if he’s outside of the top 40, yeah?
Apparently the afl are making so you can get an nga prospect by matching bids in the top 40 again. Would Lockwood be on the cards then?
Bummers sooked it up over Kako...Apparently the afl are making so you can get an nga prospect by matching bids in the top 40 again. Would Lockwood be on the cards then?

Doubt Lockwood gets a bid before 40 bit if the rule does change it would mean he's all but guaranteed to be ours if we want him.Lockwood hasn’t been spoken about as a top 40 pick though? The rule change wouldn’t have any impact on that would it?

#2 Tanner Armstrong (Murray Bushrangers)
Defender | 175cm | 27/02/2008
Stats: 30 disposals, 4 tackles, 5 rebound 50s
Racking up an equal game-high 30 disposals, Armstrong was integral to Vic Country’s rebound play. He took on the kick-in duties and provided plenty of run out of the backline, driving his legs and working tirelessly up the ground. The defender also got stuck in with smothers and tackles, while taking up good positions behind the ball as his side attacked. Armstrong was also given a run at the centre bounces in term four and his energy was infectious throughout the match.

#2 Tanner Armstrong (Murray Bushrangers)
Defender | 175cm | 27/02/2008
Stats: 23 disposals, 4 marks, 9 rebound 50s
Vic Country’s defence absorbed a good amount of pressure from WA and Armstrong helped release it with his work on the rebound. He provided plenty of drive and energy, getting busy with ball in hand and having a dip across the back 50. For all his flair and speed on the counter, one of Armstrong’s best moments was a well judged one-on-one mark as the last man back in term one.
Rest assured they will narrow the currency you can match with ,Doubt Lockwood gets a bid before 40 bit if the rule does change it would mean he's all but guaranteed to be ours if we want him.

This would also mean if Tanner Armstrong keeps it up we can get him too in a couple of years. 2026 could be big for us if Jack Leys and Armstrong keep it up.
