Why not? People have worked out that acting offended puts them in a position of power. They have everyone's attention, people will scramble to appease them because no one wants a stain on their reputation, their stance is incontestable because how do you prove someone isn't offended by something? This has forced everyone to try to cater to everyone for everything out of fear, not a sense of inclusivity. Feels like there's been a slow course correction happening lately, thank ****.
