We could realistically have Lalor, FOS and Hotton. That's like having picks 1, 2 and 6.

4. Adelaide - Smith
5. Melbourne - Langford
6. Richmond - Smillie. We seem keen on him but I’m not sure he’s the same level as the top five. If we don’t trade up it’s because we rate him so highly.

7/8. St Kilda - They would love Smillie here. Instead they get Reid and Tauru.
9. Melbourne - Travaglia. They don’t need talls, they need midfield run.

10/11 Armstrong, Lindsay.
12 West Coast - Allan. They want Travaglia though.
13. Port - Berry
14. Freo - Shanahan
15/16 GWS - Faull, Trainor
17. Western Bulldogs - Hannaford.
18. Richmond - Hotton

We are trying to build a premiership list. If the mooted North trade is true, we won't be losing out on a player, we will simply be picking them up in the following year in the top 5 rather than 10-15.

And who in our recruiting dept is going to do the right player evaluations?!

Why would we entertain this unless there was a chance of him coming to us?

Could it be manager Shenanggans trying to strong-arm Richmond in delivering their client a number 1 pick. This mean deals and great PR for both Levi and the lions.

I would be dumb founded we bid on him at 1 given it says to Lalor or FOS we dont rate you as highly as Levi....

Still find it odd North would be so transparent that everyone supposedly knows they must have Tauru. A few months ago it was Trainor, and those concussion issues didn’t appear overnight
