I did. Looks like a Magic post

----------------------------------------

"Let's set up a hypothetical trade that allows Richmond to secure pick 2 from North Melbourne while balancing the other clubs’ draft needs and 2025 picks in a way that can be agreeable for all parties involved. Given that North Melbourne currently holds pick 2, they would want significant value in return. Similarly, the other clubs will need incentives to make the trade feasible.

Goals:

  1. Richmond: Secure pick 2.
  2. North Melbourne: Obtain additional high-value 2023 and/or 2025 picks, possibly gaining extra picks within the top 10 to maximize their early selection options.
  3. GWS & Port Adelaide: Gain a balanced selection of picks to improve their position or bolster future assets.

Draft Picks

  • Richmond: 1, 6, 10, 11, 18, 20, 23, 24
  • GWS: 15, 16, 21, 37
  • Port Adelaide: 13, 29, 36
  • North Melbourne: 2

Proposed Trade Scenario:

  1. Richmond Trades:
    • 2023 Picks: 6, 10, 18
    • 2025 First-round pick (unprotected)
  2. North Melbourne Trades:
    • Pick 2 to Richmond
  3. Additional Moves Involving GWS and Port Adelaide:
    • GWS Receives:
      • Pick 11 from Richmond
      • Richmond’s 2025 second-round pick
    • Port Adelaide Receives:
      • Picks 20 and 24 from Richmond
This setup leaves Richmond with picks 1 and 2 in the 2023 draft, satisfying their primary objective of securing top-tier talent. North Melbourne, meanwhile, gets a strong combination of early 2023 picks and a 2025 first-rounder, which they may view as valuable for either a rebuild or to trade in the future.

Final Draft Pick Distribution:

  • Richmond: 1, 2, 23
  • North Melbourne: 6, 10, 18, Richmond’s 2025 first-round pick
  • GWS: 11, 15, 16, 21, Richmond’s 2025 second-round pick
  • Port Adelaide: 13, 20, 24, 29, 36"
  • you propose we give up Picks: 6, 10, 18 and 2025 First-round pick (unprotected) to ensure we get FOS
I'd keep all those picks and be happy to settle for who ever makes it to 6 out of smith, smillie Langford, as much as I like FOS I'm not going to sell the farm for him

Please don't ever attribute shitposts like this to my actual thoughts ever again

Richmond picks 1, 6, 10, 11, 18, 20, 23, 24
GWS picks 15, 16, 21, 37
Port picks 13, 29, 36
North pick 2

🤔

Ok guys how does this mean we end up with pick 2 if it's also been reported we want to hold 6.

Who gets bent over in this pick swap? I'm guessing picks 10 & 11 are out the door. North must be happy with multiple late 1st rounders with pick 10 being one of them?

North fans will melt
North want a KPF player, Tarau. Pick 2 is overs but picks 10 and 11 are too risky for them. They want our pick 6.

This chat of us having 1, 2 & 6 is too much, I cant take it.

Lalor
FOS
Jagga

The most elite midfield in the comp when we are Ready to contend. Literally has everything.

Add Sharp next year, PHWOAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jagga
Langford
Smillie

Yeah but once we have Lalor, FOS and Smillie we won't need Sharp.
Could split it and go Cadman and more versatile guy or a big like Louie although not overly keen to go early on a ruck. Personally I'm hoping Greeves goes nuts next year so we can go local boy.

So... FOS and Lalor?

Is fos an endurance type? He’s hybrid in my opinion between endurance/more strike/defensive
Hence why he’s the most well rounded mid.
Like I would say pure endurance is Jagga
Pure strike is Lalor
Just using references from Dylan Alexander’s video

I like it, but I've made a few changes.

North will want pick 10 or 11 making up 3 first rounders so they can package 2 of them up to get Saints pick 8.

Richmond give 10, 11, 18, 23 Get 2 + 13 (so we have basically giving 10 & 11 for 2 and 18 & 23 for 13).
GWS give 15 + 21 Get 10 + 29
Port give 13 + 29 Get 15 + 23
North Give 2 Get 11 + 18 + 21

Richmond end up with 1, 2, 6 13, 20 & 24
GWS end up with 10, 16 & 29
Port end up with 15 & 23
North end up with 11, 18 & 21 which they might trade 11 & 21 to saints for pick 8.
again stupid

If it's a deal that sees us get rid of 10, and we go Lalor, FOS, Smillie... 😍

As many have said, I don't know about having both Smillie and Allan, so surely it's a key position player at 11 for us.
Shanahan? The man who caught up for coffee with Cotch

I also wonder who Port want at 10... could they see Draper sliding with the injury rumours? Or maybe it's Allan

Are we microdosing? We’re not getting Lalor, FOS and Smillie
