CTE much more of a concern if your brain actually has the capability to support you throughout a whole career with (on average) a higher earning capacity then what he’d get from football

There was a relatively early pick player at West Coast that had delayed medical school and then packed in his footy career after one concussion from memory

I think Davidson would be a riskier pick from that personal point of view on concussion and it affecting his life which would be much different to the everyday footy player

I would say no chance. Not enough of a climb to give up 3 for 2 when we end up with the worst pick.

I would imagine the last two are earmarked for trading into next years draft. So that's 13 and 29 for 20 and potentially two 2025 firsts. So no.

No chance I would
24 is too valuable on it's own as 1st pick on day 2. We'll get big offers for that one, I'd want more than a 7 pick upgrade for a loss of a 1st rounder.

Really with Davidson it’s probably one and done when it comes to head knocks and there’d be plenty of people around him telling him not to risk it at all

Most would probably say no as 20, 23 & 24 would be hot property by other bidders on draft night & we could secure some future high picks.
But I'd probably take it.
That way we draft 6 players only.
Use 1, 6, 10, 11, 13 & 29.
We'd pick up some serious talent with first 5 as long as we nail them.
