Lindsay won't get to 18, the Saints could take him, if they don't then he's my preference at 10/11.

Without a doubt the best highlights package of all the players in 2024

His marking & kicking are exquisite, and tackling is fierce. Ball handling and reading of the play is A+
Whilst we have no info about his speed he look just as quick as FOS & Jagga at the least

Kid is a weapon

His handball vision is awesome, hits players breaking away so they run at full pace onto the ball. That’s the speed of play we lack.

Was previously gravitating towards the idea of keeping our picks instead of trading up, but it would be seriously good to get Draper at 2. Lalor as that inside beast who can kick goals, and then Draper with his pace and agility who also goes in hard. Won’t happen, but it would be pretty great. We need faster midfielders. Hopefully whatever we do works out though

Draper won't be there at 6, so a choice has to be made for pick 1, do you take the player with the potential higher ceiling there or a 'banker?'

Reckon the banker type is for 6, Jagga if he get's there, Smillie is a great fall back option though.

I reckon Draper goes at 3 at Jagga at 4

Seems to have the potential inside game of a Wines or a Viney but can go forward and be a threat in the air.

the first 4 picks of mids, while big mid heavy, aren't slow (smillie avg at worst), so there's no sacrificing speed for height. all 4 picks can also play off either flanks in their first couple of years effectively

3 talls is probably too much, but i like jack whitlock the most of those likely remaining at 18. gerryn is also just too good value to pass up with our 7th(or last) pick in the draft. matt whitlock is just there for the twinning beyond me rating him, so could drop him, but i'm all for a 6 kpf, 6 kpd & 3 ruck vfl team. tall ball! (if we don't redraft colina and have a likely avg of 3 injuries to talls, drafting 3 talls will be fine until we can delist some duds next year)

hannaford could literally be anyone but i really like him, especially there, in fact he's against the rules i made as he's like 25th in the consensus rankings so **** it
