Then why are you chucking him as steak knives in a trade for Harley Reid?I like Kamdyn a lot and always defended him.

Because you have to pick someone and he is a WA man with premiership experience that West Coast would want. Then why are you chucking him as steak knives in a trade for Harley Reid?
I think the group would be more than happy to get him. These long contracts aren't as expensive as they sound as $1.5 million a year is not as much in future years as the salary cap goes up.Interesting hypothetical question to go after a player such as H Reid? I love the idea of bringing in a player of that quality.
But I think it’s vital to consider the possible impact/opinion of the playing group? To pay/contract a player like this & it’s impact on the group? As in positive or negative an overall impact? I also love the idea of drafting and growing the talent together within the team… Really depends on which will benefit the team most?
You don't have to pick anyone? There's no requirement for both sides to add players.Because you have to pick someone and he is a WA man with premiership experience that West Coast would want.
It's a moneyball decision.
You wont find one negative comment about Kamdyn from me anywhere on bigfooty.
You will need a massive deal to get it over the line. You don't have to pick anyone? There's no requirement for both sides to add players.
If it makes me feel better? You will need a massive deal to get it over the line.
If it makes you feel better I'll take Kamdyn off the table.
Well they wanted Jack Graham for his experienceIf it makes me feel better?
I just don't see Kamdyn having much trade value for someone West Coast will want the world for.
Jack's 4 years younger though and came attached with Bakes.Well they wanted Jack Graham for his experience

If we get say pick 1 and pick 3 in next years draft should we offer those picks to West Coast for Harley Reid?
the lance franklin deal also didn't cost the swans picks 1&3, and the hawks got completely ****ed on the free agency compo (pick 19Look at the financial impact Franklin’s massive contract had on the Swans.
It worked out well for us though, part of the collateral was the Tiges gaining Nank.
Reid has already shown he can perform at AFL level. Why on earth would you trade two of the top picks in next years draft for Reid. Surely we assess next years talent and if we deem that we will get TWO outstanding players, you keep the picks.
Love Reid as a player, a superstar no doubt but how many flags did the scum win with Judd in their side.
Unless the top end of the ‘25 draft is deemed ordinary, keep the picks for mine
Didn't harm the group when we brought in Lynch TJ.Interesting hypothetical question to go after a player such as H Reid? I love the idea of bringing in a player of that quality.

Agree but I’m of the understanding the group/team were in full support?Didn't harm the group when we brought in Lynch TJ.
This year likely his last 12m at the levelBecause you have to pick someone and he is a WA man with premiership experience that West Coast would want.

They knew what the arrival of Lynch meant.Agree but I’m of the understanding the group/team were in full support?

He’s contracted for three years isn’t he? Only reason we’d offer to trade next year is because we’d actually have something to give West Coast in exchange for him.We are a dead set certainty to come last next year, offer Reid 2.2m a year over 10 years, walk him to the PSD and keep picks 1 & 3 sounds the better option.
LOL. Eagles wouldn't take Kamdyn for free next year, let alone as steak knives in a trade. He was last or 2nd last re signed this year, in the 18th team after our worst ever season.
0 trade value.
Well, thank God you’re not Blair Hartley then. Reid is great, but picks 1 & 3?. Get serious
Supporter patienceWell what's he worth then?
