This team. Get to redzone, lose a LT, illegal formation penalty, illegal formation penalty negating a big Deebo play. Then Purdy throws a ground ball to the FB 8 yards short of the line to gain. Miss FG.

For a system QB who can't throw over a dlineman, can't throw it 40 yards, can't rifle a ball into tight coverage, can't close out games.
Jimmy G was bad in come back drives, but this is next level awful. I don't know if it's Purdy, Kyle or both??? It's just really really bad

Purdy just isn't it. He NEVER throws the ball away...that late sack was typical of him. Lost field position and clock by not throwing it away.

I'd take that as a fan over consistent mid pack results.
Allows you to stretch emotions at either end.
With our schedule next year....NFC and AFC South plus 4th placed Giants, Bears and Browns as long as we don't cop a reaming on the balance of rest and do something with the oline then it comes down to winning your share of divisional games.
Rams/Seattle/Cards will get Detroit/Vikings/Packers, Pittsburgh/Ravens/Bengals, Eagles/Washington/Cowboys.
Big difference in quality of opponent finishing 3rd or 4th. Pays the 49ers to finish last in what will be a tight NFC West. Could be a 3 game swing just on those off-division games.

Christmas Day is a bad day to have a delayed flight so just playing with some draft Sims...if we got this draft I think I've fixed the roster in one draft....
We've had 4 years out of the past 6 (including this season) making the NFC championship or better. Pretty decent outcome. Just want that Superbowl.
100% on the schedule - it's one of the reasons teams can surge in to the playoffs from nowhere.
Still a lot of work off the field. Another TE is also on my list beyond the O line, and D line.

NFC West getting the 2 worst divisions from this season (AFC & NFC south). Plus we've got 3 x 4th placed teams in our extra games (Bears Browns and Giants).
Would be nice to be at the Browns on the road.
