Draft Guru has slightly different numbers than the AFL article.
It is interactive so click on the top category to change the order.
To isolate Brisbane, click on Brisbane. The list appears to be up to date.
A, B, C & D is their player rating. Unknown how they arrive at that. Untried at AFL got a "D" so did, Ryan, Smith & Tunstill
Coaches votes also unknown how they rate them. Maybe just win v loss %.

Calling all the island Lion's out there, the perfect preseason primer (ok, I'm addicted to alliteration so sue me ;) ).

Good to see Cal take top billing over a former captain, two time All Astralian, multy B & F winner, near 300 game player etc... etc... :D :D

That is strange place for two current Lions players to visit in February.
Apart from possibly making some money. Good luck to them if they do make a good profit on the trip though.

The Lions' hunt for back-to-back flags is strengthening with forward Lincoln McCarthy's return from injury firming for the opening round.

Not sure how accurate the report is but Dizzy & Linc could be available for selection for OR according to 7 News Brisbane tonight.
I think Linc will find it hard to make the team this year barring injuries. The problem is Kai and Ah Chee have both overtaken him during his absence and Levi will be banging down the door for a spot in the forward line too.

Linc would be an absolute standout sub IMO.

Linc is our best small in terms of being well rounded and his impact in the midfield. He was also our best player when he got injured.

Ah Chee is a lock because of his versatility and how effective he was shutting down the oppositions best rebounder.

Rayner, Charlie and Kai are locks.

I think sub as well. He is going to struggle breaking into the side otherwise.

Not sure if this link will work, but Enhanced Football is worth following on SM; here they are working with some of our young lads.
This is great. Thanks for sharing. Those nets look similar to the one slips fielders practice with in cricket.

This was posted on YouTube yesterday. At this time of year, if Damien Austin is happy, I'm happy.

Weird, Damo said if Grasshopper is happy, he's happy!

Anyone think Rayner has trimmed down abit going by today's photos?
I always tend to find that the boys generally look very lean at this point in the Pre-Season but tend to bulk up a bit as the season progresses.
So they can take the bumps and bruises as the matches get under way.
I think I remember Dayne Zorko talking about this a year or 2 ago.

My image of Cam in a running session in 2018. He was always a solid built lad and now has toned down well.

He is leading the pack in the photo but very misleading.
It was an exercise where the players ran as fast as they could in an anticlockwise direction.

The whistle is blown. The players stop and stay where they are for about 20 seconds for recovery.
Cam was stone motherless way behind the 2nd last player.

They turn around and wait till the whistle goes again running clockwise. Cam started with a big lead of course.
The image is past the 1/2-way mark in the run where he was leading. After another 150 meters he ended up just past the middle of the field.
However, i could see he was giving his all but just no endurance.
We were all aware that was his weakness and of course this was his first preseason in a Brisbane summer.
