Hopkins listed on field at hb. I suspect he will be a lynch fav.

I didn’t even know this fellow was on our VFL list. What’s his background?

Wasn’t he considered a chance to maybe be on the list as recently as last year in the MSD, and isn’t he in the leadership group? How is he now not in the best 22?

Unfortunately wish the VFL game was a Saturday game as I live 30 minutes from the ground as I have to work Sunday to 1pm then straight to Marvel

We don’t have a big injury list, so naturally we are going to select our listed players.

Obviously Lowe, Butler, McPherson x 2, and Keast have impressed more during the preseason.

Originally Geelong Falcons in the Coates league. Played 40ish VFL games for Werribee since 2022. Tough 180cm midfielder who was stuck behind Brew.

The only other vfl listed player I want in the team other than downie is Charlie Harrop kid can play

I’d have both ahead of keast but maybe he’s in as urquhart is missing so they want another inside mid in this week

Other vfl listed who I’d consider replacing are Lowe and Tarrant

Lowe has a bit of experience at the level, for that reason I reckon he’ll be a bit of a mainstay.

Agree on Harrop though, he definitely has a bit of talent.

Adrian Cole, Nathanial Sulzberger and Hugh Byrne are others that I’d like to see get some exposure at VFL. All of them had draftable traits in their draft years.

I'm not sure I would want to have one of our worst kicks in the team playing as a defender. We already get killed enough on turnovers.

He’s a better field kick than Comben.

It’s just when you put the sticks in front of him that it goes pear shaped.
