On the MCG games it’s just maths really:
MCG
Pies
Rich
Hawks
Dees
MARVEL/MCG
Blues
Dons
MARVEL
Us
St K
North
Our problem is that Essendon and Carlton who share between the stadiums will always choose to play us at marvel, the Pies made this worse by playing their 1 marvel home game against...
To be fair (and i f*ing hate ticketek) i think they hold some blocks of tickets for box-office/phone sales which if they go unclaimed after a certain time get re-released on the internet, that's why some new 'better' ones pop up.
(Doesn't excuse all the other tech things that seem to have gone...
AA is the 27th row (after Row A-Z, it goes AA,BB,CC,DD etc.)
12 might be your Bay (Q12 is Southern/Shane Warne stand on the 50m line) or could be your seat number
Q is level 4
Finals are run by the AFL and are usually pretty neutral (the ones at the G at least).
We will maybe get some extra bulldogs branding on the advertising boards but that’s about it. They’ll prob do fireworks with the banners for both teams. They've sometimes done fireworks off the scoreboard...
Positive is that we have been pretty good in the few wet games we’ve had this year (including IIRC our previous game vs GWS). Happy to stand in the rain for a W 🙂
(Promise I’m not trying to put the moz on by going to early with this 😁, but) if there wasn’t enough incentive to win next week, just projecting out the likely finals and would have to say of our 2 potential outcomes finishing 6th looks a much nicer run through the PF than if we scraped into...
Looking at the predictor Cats still need to win by 10 goals to make up 4% to get ahead of GWS… very doable vs Eagles, but they could also coast below that and lock in 4th. Might change GWS’s approach if Geelong do get that 10 goal win though.
Even if they took it easy and lost, GWS would need to cats to make up 4% on them, don’t think it’s gonna happen.
It’s a must win for us, but at least if GWS beat us they go ahead of Port, which gives Port some incentive to beat Freo for us, to get them a home final.
A draw would actually get...
Did seem like the setting sun was causing us a fair bit of grief in the first quarter when the game got away from us… in fairness it’s not something our guys have to deal with very often
Mostly just annoying how utterly, utterly predictable this result was.
Only solace is that it’s a good time for a loss I guess, fire a rocket back up some of them for the run home.
After a couple of pretty miserable days shut off from the world (one spent with an almighty hangover and my house reeking of toxic smoke from an hour spent drunkenly trying to burn the Grand Final Footy Record in a pot in my back yard - Back to the Future 2 made it look so easy!) - I've just...
True but at $350+ for a seat, it's quite possible the neutral locals in the crowd might identify more with their upper class reputation :p.
Also doesn't help that we've piled some hard fought misery onto the Eagles in the recent years, while they probably look back fondly at those lovely Dees...
Also their long suffering fans in Victoria deserve a day like we had in 2016, not a lockdown premiership where they can't go to the game, watch at a pub or even enjoy it with family and friends.
They wont realise it now, but i think their fans will actualy come to thank us if we deny them this...

Also don't mind us wearing the white strip, it's a great clash top. Two of our best recent finals wins (WCE 2016 and BL 2021) were in white. Happy we're a club that embraces the clash top, not whingers like the entitled 'big 4' Vic clubs (Carlton in particular who in the past...
It's neearly 3 am but can i just say out 3rd quarter when they were throwing evrything at us and we just basically just sapped clock for 15 minutes was just as awesome as all the great things we did in the fisrt half
