I think the teams that have joined this competition has held themselves really well over the last few years with the step up Hinterland, Moreton, Beenleigh.
The other ridiculous thing is the second highest competition in SEQ is playing finals in early August.
Good luck to all the teams.
Mac who is the conversation with now Barry Gibson has gone to Coorparoo.
Sorry to hear that Wynnum might have to drop back.
Who replaces them Bond Uni??
Look at a club like Alex Hills/Robina they had all of those teams. 34K in fees before you pay a cent in field maintenance and buy a footy.
Well done to clubs in this environment they do a great job.
The south comp is going to have some active recruiting.
Cooly, Bond, Robina, Burleigh, Carrara and the NSW teams all in the same Div.
Would have to think Bond will dominate again.
It’s going to be a very good final series in Div 2. I would imagine any team not at its best on the day might find themselves out.
Div 2 has definitely improved this year, even the mid table teams played some very entertaining footy.
With Vicy Point winning today open up 5th spot, the Saints have a slim chance to sneak in to the finals.
Alex had a great win and the Buffs won a ripper against the Bears.
Bond, Buffs and Bears are the 3 teams for the GF.
The Buffs v Cooly game was a absolute cracker of a game. In Melbourne like conditions both sides were good. Both sides missing some good players as well. Great comp this year.
I think permit players had an impact on Results. The young player for Carrara was excellent, kicking a bag.
Well done Vic Point.
Kenmore will be there in the pointy end of the year.
Both Carrara and Alex would be happy with their wins, Cooly back on track and Beenleigh taking top spot from Kenmore. One game until the break and the top 5 are starting to break away.
Bond are definitely hitting some form. Kenmore and Beenleigh still travelling nicely but might need to kick a bit straighter.
Still thing this is a fantastic comp.
Well done I heard Vic Point and Alex Hills both played well with plenty of positives.
