Have a look at past drafts and see if North would win the deal hands down. You’ll be surprised. You don’t give up pick 2 in a draft unless the offer is too good to refuse. 6 and 11 we might do because of our circumstance this year but odds are we’d lose on the trade.

Don’t give up pick 2. Certainly don’t give it up for 6,18 type scenario. You just need to look at each draft to see that 90% of the time pick 2 alone is better than two later picks. The Tigers are the ones that will need to offer something worthwhile. If they don’t, take 2 and enjoy watching...

The three established players we’ve bought in all improve our side. An overpay here or there won’t matter if it leads to wins on the field. Hopefully we get a fair deal for pick 2. Other clubs are not giving us too many wins on or off the field atm though, so I won’t hold my breath.
