I wouldn't even do that.lol
7 and 8 for 2 or gtfo and maybe an F3 if we are feeling generous
We will need to see who the Tiggers pick at #1 then decide what to do with #2. If they dont take Lalor then we need to keep #2 and take him, however if they take Lalor then we may split our #2 but it would need to be 2 picks, with 1 being #6 our under with the other inside just outside..we will also need to trade a Futures pick as Viney has said we want to go into the draft with 3 picks and l dont think he was including our pik in the 60s..So one of Lalor, Tauru or FOS maybe. Not bad.
2 & F3rd would be more like it.Would you guys do StK 7 & 8 for NM 2 & F1?
He'll come to us and we get very own Harley Reid a year later.Twomey: Not 100% sure on Sam Lalor going at 1 yet
Syd Jackson Medal?
This was an interesting watch.
Lock it in BradyyyyyTwomey: Not 100% sure on Sam Lalor going at 1 yet
I watched Shanahan highlights last night.......he looks terrificThere's a fair bit of inside intel in Cal's article this morning with various tidbits put together.
He won't know everything obviously.
But it seems like FOS and Lalor are the two in consideration for us if we keep Pick 2 in his opinion. Tauru in the mix, but the way he described it, you would think he's there as an option for a trade back or F1 trade.
Faull, M.Whitlock, J.Whitlock, Shanahan, Trainor all look like going top 20.
He mentioned Shanahan being a target of those looking back into the first round on draft night. Im wondering if he was alluding to us there.
Hannaford is a chance to get picked with our natural R2 selection by the Dogs we gave them for Caleb Daniel.....
Cal also mentioned us when discussing Draper. There's a fair bit of inside intel in Cal's article this morning with various tidbits put together.

I can see huge issues with this for competitive league balance. Clubs going to the bottom of the cycle will load up even harder on first round kids rather than draft 19-20 year olds - which will make them even less competitive. It's too complicated, you lift the age or you don't IMO, I think realistically the whole list size and reserves structure needs a rethink if you're going down this path. This is such a good idea to only allow 18 year olds to be taken in the first round. I'd say they would need to tighten up a few loopholes, like academy and father-son bid matching having to include a first round pick, and tier 2 free-agency compensation to be changed to start of second round rather than end of first round so that the first round doesn't blow out to 25 picks or more. It i also a softer landing for the clubs at the bottom of the ladder in the draft that this begins. A sudden switch to minimum 19 or 20 years old for the entire draft would mean that the first season it came in would be a dud draft class filled with rejects from the previous year (or two). At least if the first round is still 18 year olds, the bottom teams get elite talent.
Yep he's a ripperI watched Shanahan highlights last night.......he looks terrific
Would you consider any of those players worthy of F1?1 x Whitlock, Shanahan, Faull or Gerreyn should be more of a priority than Tauru in my opinion.
I think people are still sleeping on Matt Whitlock, has he ability to play both ends of the grounds, excellent below his knees and has a bit of a competitive edge to his game. I really liked him forward later on in the year t
This is what has been stated : "The Kangaroos are open to trading "one" of this year’s Pick 2, "OR" their future first-round pick in next year’s draft". So l cant see us doing it..Would you guys do StK 7 & 8 for NM 2 & F1?
You'd probably be able to draft 7. Tauru & 8. Armstrong though! This is what has been stated : "The Kangaroos are open to trading "one" of this year’s Pick 2, "OR" their future first-round pick in next year’s draft". So l cant see us doing it..

I'd prefer not to use our F1 at all unless it involves another F1 coming back. Despite what some pundits are saying next years draft, particularly the first 15 or so looks really bloody solid, and that's a long way out.
Ideally I'd be splitting pick 2 and trying to get 2-3 of the talls this year.

I actually thought Matt was the better Whitlock twin. Jack really got going towards the end of the year though.1 x Whitlock, Shanahan, Faull or Gerreyn should be more of a priority than Tauru in my opinion.

Wait until we bid on Ashcroft at pick 2. There will be an interview with him before it's announced what we're doing.I laugh when the team that has 1st pick in the draft takes the full 5 minutes to make its selection having known who it was picking for weeks. The afl loves to draw out everything they do.
