Poll: How did you get into supporting North?

Born in the early 50's it was family tradition to follow North, used to go on the train to Macauley station and walk to the game with Mum and my sister. I reckon the smell of the tannery is still in my nostrils Used to kick my plastic footy on the old dog track and I would be lucky if an errant...

    Opinion Is this rock bottom?

I have followed this club for over 60 years, long time member, former shareholder and now I just can't watch this boring, uninteresting drivel any longer. There is no direction, no enthusiasm and by the look of it, no intelligence. Enough is enough but this is too much.

    Player Watch #42 Mykelti Lefau Re-Signed 2026

As an outsider looking in, what a tragedy. I hope that he can make a full and speedy recovery. A genuine star in the making. The game cannot afford to lose these new talents

Autopsy Round 8, 2024 : Hawks leash the Dogs

As a jealous outsider looking in, great win, even though the Afl fix was in, you still win

Game Day North play away to the dirty rotten saints. Starts at 16:35 AEST @the dome

To have so many players in our side who have zero impact on the game is heartbreaking to watch, so much deadwood.

Game Day North play away to the dirty rotten saints. Starts at 16:35 AEST @the dome

Curtis and Stephenson statless still. Might as well have witches hats in the forward line in their place, same impact

Which player(s) do you think will step up this offseason and either cement themselves in the team or go to a whole new level?

Eddie Ford for me. Got a taste last season and surprised a few . If he knows that he can complete at the elite level I believe that the sky is the limit. Has got a bit of X factor

Resource North Melbourne Vintage (player highlights and moments)

Thank you, that was quick. For someone build like Mick to be as agile as he was and reportedly a great tap ruckmen is amazing. Such a shame that he passed away so young

Resource North Melbourne Vintage (player highlights and moments)

I'm not sure who we played or what year but there is a clip of an opposition player running into a stationary Mick Nolen and coming off second best. Not even sure where to start looking but it would be great to see again

    News Vale Ron Barassi

I remember that before the '75 premiership he was tossing up whether to play the great Doug Wade, who's form in the few games before wasn't all that good,. when he decided to play Wade he had specific instructions form him during the game. Wade was told not to fly for any marks but just wait at...

Past Coach Brett Ratten - set to depart NM - Thanks Ratts!

For someone who was only at the club for a short time his legacy is huge. Contributed magnificently to our great club and would be welcomed back in a heartbeat. One of the selfless good guys. Go well Ratts

Game Day Rd 24 NMFC v Suns (Don’t let the door hit you on the way out 2023)

I would love to see Paul Curtis attacking the ball rather than trying for the over the back play

Preview Changes and pre match discussion vs Gold Coast - thank f***ing Christ it's over

I sincerely hope that one of the favourite whipping boys on this board, Charlie Lazzaro, gets a full game rather than being just a bench warmer and put on the field for a burst. I would like him to get into the rythym of the game, I believe that he could be a very good winger or play on the HFF.

Game Day Jack Ziebell’s farewell game v Richmond

The thing that stands out about this side is the lack of composure, fumbles, dropped marks and lack of intesity

VFL The VFL Thread Part II - [Wildcard Round (7 v 10) Melbourne v North Melbourne, Sunday 27 Aug, 2.45pm, Casey Fields]

Lazzaro has been clean by hand and foot and has set up a lot of opportunities for the forwards. Hall has had a lot of possessions but has butchered most of them.

Game Day North v GWS Hobart blockbuster GD thread.

Geez you are hard to please, you're talking about a first year player. Plenty of senior players to criticize before the Cheez

Autopsy 35 point loss vs. Pies

Larkey finally worked out that he can mark the ball instead of playing for free kicks, Phillips very good, Greenwood a real warrior. The side can play well when the pressure valve gets released but at least the basics are there to build on.

Past #43: Aaron Hall - Shinboner #1013 retires after 58 NM games - Thanks Aaron

Any momentum that the team has is often halted because his first instinct is to stop and generally the second is to kick backwards
