Well again, yes they set the rules, including who gets what tickets and how much they cost, but supply has never met demand. Medallion Club, Corporates, MCC Membership, AFL membership etc - they all exist because someone is willing to pay.

There is an argument to say the way to ensure guaranteed GF tickets as an AFL member is become a Collingwood Club Support. If they make it you get a ticket, if they don't you should be right. But I would not be able to live with myself.

there is normally a way to transfer through the app. for the FIFA World Cup, the barcodes only came to life when you were in the vicinity of the stadium.

Those clubs did play on the Saturday, Essendon lost at home to Geelong and Collingwood away to St Kilda. They then backed up on the Monday just 41 hours later. Both sides then had Sat 9 July off. Still doesn’t explain why it was played at 10.30am.
