The inequity of the fixture is a massive integrity issue for fairness in our game. Comparing the Blues fixture to ours you’d think we’d finished top 4 and them bottom 4. They have North and WC twice, Brissy once but a Blues home game, Swans once, Giants once but a Blues home game, zero (!)...
But the narrative created to control the masses is left vs right. And it’s a tiresome false narrative that has been getting more and more traction in the media with its use from the far ‘right’ who manage to somehow pretend that they are up against ‘far left looneys’ in a two-party political...
See, this is the view of the true left of the political spectrum. The real problem in the US is that the left narrative has been adopted by a right wing driven agenda of the Democrats. But there is no leftist substance to the Democrats’ narrative. It’s all just meaningless words used to try and...
Anyone supporting Trump on the basis of the Democrats being warmongering, corrupt, adopters of leftist ideals (despite being wholly on the right side of politics as well), do not lessen the stupidity of their allegiance. Sure, the Democrats are all of those things but it is a stain on humanity...
Sitting in my kitchen as a kid listening to Captain and the Major with Hugh Mitchell being our link to another game we might be more interested in. Good memories.
If Roos played for a big club in the 80s he’d be far more revered. An out-and-out superstar of the game. I always rate players who redefine the way a position is played. As an attacking, tall, HB with run and carry and pinpoint delivery he was revolutionary at the Swans. It’s even more...
Roos became the prototype attacking HB so that’s a given. SOS would’ve struggled against the talls now but always held his own against the bulky full forwards so he’d have been a defensive utility. TD a hf or hb. Modra excelled when one-out so not sure how he’d have gone as a focal point...
Funnily enOUGH, this link popped up in my news feed today. Just so happens that he’s a mad Essendon fan. Might be a bit of an OUGHmen. Welcome to Essendon Jackoff.

Hmmm, lack of pace might be an issue with the fast transition play of AFL level footy. But a 194cm player who shows an ability to consistently find the footy 30+ times could be a real find at the 30ish point of the draft. I’ll be interested to see how he goes wherever he lands.
eDPS im intrigued by the numbers produced by Jack Oughs. He’s a tall mid who looks like he will fill out significantly, has a neat kicking style, and seemed to have an upward trajectory in form as a midfielder. He will also fall around our pick 28 if we don’t trade it out. Do you think much of him?
Randomly, there’s a milk crate beside my tramp in the backyard that I’m sure I’ve shown you before. It’s how we climb on and off it. It’s a super tramp to be sure.
I guess you’ll never fully know a player’s commitment until they’ve been in the system long enough to witness it over a block of injury-free football. It obviously didn’t take long to see what was missing.
Menzie - low ceiling but works his butt off.
Davey - high ceiling but not invested in high level self improvement.
This sums up the club’s focus, which is fine. The issue is that the club has had two players on the list with half the requirement of actually making it as an elite small forward...
