    NFNL div 3 2025

It appears the fixture has dropped online Round 1 Kilmore v Lalor Heidelberg West v Old Eltham Reservoir v Ivanhoe Laurimar v Fitzroy Stars Mernda v Epping

    NFNL Div 3 discussion 2024

Think Laurimar, Stars and Epping should be favourites but it's way too early for a ladder prediction IMO, pre-season yet to kick into gear

    Bendigo FL discussion 2025

The club definitely wanted to field 18s and they felt like they would have had a pretty good team in the end (16s made finals).

Talbot seem to be the ones on the move at the moment. Seem to have picked up a busload of blokes.

    NFNL 2024 Div 1 discussion

100 per cent gut feel and nothing else but I reckon the idea they had of the footy record with clubs profitting from it was the one that had the league taking "action" in the end I think, i.e them profitting from other media that wasn't NFNL-related

Truslove signs as coach of Banyule in NFNL Div 1. Should end all that speculation then

Who isn't Nick Hind a lock with in this state, he might be on a statewide tour next year at this rate 😂

Confirmed, he is staying around in some capacity apparently but doesn't have the time to coach.

Indeed, Lanfranchi did get three votes. I get the criticism since it was a 226-point win to Strath, probably fair enough too. Agree that it shouldn't be three votes in a game like that. But on another note it's nice to see Lanfranchi get some form of recognition, I don't think it's fair that he...

Tardrew got two from his 57 against us... at this point you'd just dye your hair blond wouldn't you?

Worth saying - sensational job to get Princes Park in the conditions it's in at the moment after last Sunday. Credit to all involved

Mernda by a kick. They need the forward line to step up like they did last week, seems there's no Kimuliatis or Coffey again. Think it goes to the wire

I think the fact that they have to recover from Sunday and very heavy conditions plays against both Dunolly and Carisbrook but it's finals footy. Anything can happen! Think both games go either way for me

Bits and pieces. Walters was terrific for Harcourt, both he and Leech turned the game the Lions' way within a minute with two quick goals on a day they were hard to come by. Should be some great finals on the horizon!

My apologies, yes, it was their third. Got it mixed up with when the Dees went down to div 3.

    NFNL Div 3 discussion 2024

Yep, and some good linear progression alongside as well. Banyule were smart with their recruitment after year one, used their connections incredibly wisely and it bagged them a flag in their second year. Ivanhoe have a great opportunity with the building blocks plus experienced ex-AFL guys in...

That's a massive credit to Kilmore at such short notice - well done to the crew 👏

    NFNL Div 3 discussion 2024

Perhaps I'm alone but I would have thought it'd have made sense to have Mernda's ground on the weekend for the game while they had the bye. Unless the Dees said they couldn't accomodate or something I guess

All Divisions General NFNL Discussion Thread

The standard has dropped everywhere, that's been a product of the points system as mentioned before. However it's also made plenty of leagues quite competitive. The NFNL is the only league in metro Melbourne that doesn't have a team sitting on a percentage under 40 so the games have been...

Definitely the case for sure. Was in that league for an awfully long time before I went up here.

    Bendigo FL discussion 2024

I wouldn't be surprised if the NFNL clubs aren't overly keen. Div 3 NFNL would be a very interesting batch if they were to join. Kilmore and Broadford one side, Ivanhoe and Heidelberg West on the other. Either way... that's an amusing development hearing Broadford being mentioned for Bendigo IMO.

    Bendigo FL discussion 2024

The thing that always gets me is that there's a lot of councils - metro and country - who just simply don't have a feel for what metro and country football rooms should look like and that's why they always have that contrived community centre feel about it. Makes it too easy for councils to...

Being involved in both leagues over a long period of time there's no way surely Broadford are looking at BFNL. Played in both NFNL Div 3 and BFNL, BFNL is way higher standard!

    MCDFNL 2024 discussion

Reckon Dunolly might have played themselves into a top four berth on Saturday. Don't think Razza Dazza's been sung that loud for a long long time. Could be down to them and Lexton on the final day but the way the Eagles move the ball is super impressive. Carisbrook tricky draw but you'd be...
