Gympie were reasonably competitive against Hinterland, big full forward played well especially in the last quarter, took some good strong grabs but had to kick into a strong wind.
Looks like a lot of the knuckleheads have gone from Gympie.
Not sure if L.Magin is playing for Gympie this year, if...
This is exactly what happened last week Gympie vs Hinterland.
I will be interested to see if they retain any of the Noosa players next year, who would want to be part of this grubby group?
Yes smy, the senior umpire (in age and experience) got a leg injury and left the field at qtr time. Delayed the game for a bit until two replacements (1 from each team) could be found. Ended up with 3 field umpires. Interestingly the replacements umpires umpired from their teams forward 50 only...
My thoughts exactly outandabout, we don’t want that rubbish at any level.

Umpires both had whistles that must have been...
Kedron vs Hinterland game on Saturday was a ripper.
Hinterland conceded 4 x 50m penalties for running through the protected zone (everyone knows the rule, how does it still happen?) with 2 or 3 resulting in Kedron goals.
Last qrt was brilliant with both teams giving there all to win, couldve...
Hinterlands ground is heavy, wet and muddy. Not sure how MB will adapt to the conditions especially if they try to play dry weather footy at the swamp.

They may have guys that are reasonable players that cannot commit to training or playing every week and are selected in the 2s.
Not a Redcliffe supporter, just saying to me it makes no sense to stack the 2s especially in round 3.
Rizzle, not sure Hinterland have been cocky - i would say optimistic about the new season ahead with lots of new players, new coach etc.
Unfortunately like many clubs Hinterland suffers from junior player retention when crossing over to senior football, and retaining the services of the very...
