The salary cap is the same for 2018 with the intention being it will be 200k in Div 1 by 2020

2018 points cap has been lifted to 47 pts, to be inline with EDFL and EFL. So they have 2 more to play with.In 2019 its back to 46 pts and then back to 45 pts in 2020 where all metro leagues should be the same.

Agree, and I think the ground holds no advantage to any team. Not sure if this correct but haven't the last 3 Premiers come from winning the Preliminary final!

And with the new structure coming in 2019 East Burwood would need to finish top 2 in Div 4 next season or be in 5th Div in 2019. This could would mean they will be the first team to ever play in all 5 Divisions. I'm sure they won't like that!
