Collingwood St Kilda Geelong and last night should have been wins with any luck but one terrible quarter in each game cost us dearly. Still I think we are tracking the right way.
Kyle Langford - I sincerely apologise for every shitty comment I ever made about you in the past. I was wrong.
Can't stand the man personally but he actually did coach Brisbane - long after the 70's closed i should add my wife right now is watching Swans v Eagles GF 2005 and his astute commentary is blaring out of every speaker and making me nauseous
The poor nature of this defeat only tempered by the pathetic loss to St Kilda - Hasn't their subsequent form been enlightening ?.
Big shout out to Michael Hurley who's two pathetic and laughable attempts at the contest in the last quarter directly led to Demon goals.. the most over rated player...
Similar performance to Brisbane Round 8 last year and Melbourne Round 10 the year before.. looked like gimmes and turned up to play in that frame of mind...
Cards will cruise home. It's been a good post season. I've really enjoyed it all despite Detroit's abysmal batting.
Good luck to Boston and St Louis.... the best teams in their respective league all year
Since Big Papi's four run grand slam in game 2 this series was over... It's amazing The Tigers are still alive but only just. Doesn't say much for Boston....
Whoever wins the NLCS will win the World Series... in a canter....
That would be the team that had scored in just ONE of the previous 30 innings ?? and half way through an elimination game were three down.. if not gone for all money...then the till was nearly empty
Might not rank with our best ever win but 1993 was beautiful. Unexpected - came from 10th or 11th after Round 5 - not in the top 8 until after Round 10 - and Wanganeen Hird, Misiti and Mercuri became great players.. oh ah and we pulled Carlton's pants down.. expecially Long v Athorn !!!
