I'm sure it's posted somewhere, and I loathe myself for even caring about HS bulldust, but does anyone have the list of the too 50 players? Curious to see where Steele factors and if NY other Saint gets a look in.
Cheers

Whilst harsh, I did laugh at this!
He's had flashes of talent, but has never really taken a game by the scruff and influenced a game like Gresh or Butler.
I'd say his time is done.

We got stitched up with the draw this year. Give us PA's draw and we would have played finals.
Gil loves us, and the AFL will surely equalize this with the 2022 draw.

How about, unlike Bell, we try for some goodwill in here. Have some reasonable banter, and what will be will be.
Everyone calm down for a second.

Other way around, muchacho. Bell had his grump on, laid down an idiodic proposal, and the Saints walked. Bell is Dedoro 2.0.

As someone who played for Smythesdale in 2003-5, or Illabrook, as we used to be known, please know that 'the Smythesdales' is akin to 'Jack Stevens'. No 's'.
Also, the only reason we went under was that all of our good players transferred and played seniors for Redan in Ballarat or VFL with...
Nope. It's a bonus for us. The players can just run around, holding the ball above their heads, out of reach of the opposition.
Picture Lachie Neale, scrapping around, jumping and trying to get the ball. Hilarious!
The only problem will be teaching the players to handball with their arms fully...
Howdy Gents,
An Essendon fan who is a mate of mine asked me to host a podcast about the disparity between the Saints and more privelged clubs.
It's no 'Unpluggered' but we thought we'd give it a shot.
Please have a listen, if you can be bothered.

Hi all,
In light of the emotional return of our favourite, shaggy Saint, I thought it would be interesting to gage were we all rate him in comparison to other #3s.
For reference sake, the best #35 will likely always be Harvey, whereas # 7 could be split between Nicky and Lenny.
Personally, my...
Is anyone else disappointed that we didn't recruit Dean Anderson at the end of '17, have him stand in a forward pocket for 40-odd games, and allow us to get Noah as a father son!? Couldn't have made 2018 any less enjoyable.
C'mon Saints!!! Where was the creativity!!!??

This thread needs to be revived.
Obviously-
Shane Warne
Paul Dempsey
Georgie Parker
Jane Bunn
Aaron Gocs
need to be added to the list of sensible people.
I started writingf a few threads, along the likes of Newnes and Sincs to GC... Acres to Perth... Ross to Essendon etc...
Love my club, but am lacking the energy and or inclination to speculate at this stage.
I hope Roberton comes back in next year, Steven stays and plays, Hanners comes good...
I'd take any of Ratts, Bangers or Hayes over Scott any day of the week. It's going to be an interesting couple of months at our beloved Moorabin..
I don't think Cho is sustainable, but actually believe he's done okay this year. We stopped winning (largely) when Stuv went down. I miss that...
But in saying that, I've like Newnes from day 1. Was a gun junior before an injury, was well liked by many clubs in the draft. When composed and allowed to play his natural game, he's a solid B grade player.
I think injuries and being played out of position have really cruelled his image in...
Steven? Our only true gun. Could be a contributing factor to his health problems. Damn I'm going to be flat is he leaves this year...

One of our best, when fit, and I certainly hope he stays. Unlikely to get more than a second rounder for him after injuries etc.

I like this. Take Smith, Rozee, Ben King or whomever slips to 8. If King, will help us entice Max in a couple of years.

We have a trade!
By Michael Gleeson
Dean Kent has been traded from Melbourne to St Kilda for pick 65.
The fast but injury-plagued forward goes there on a three-year deal.
If we're actually still in the running, we should offering a further incentive for his first year. Through some Moorabin-mansion-buying-monies his way. 2m first year, 1.2m for subsequent years. He can buy himself a new dog and call it Lenny, set himself up in Melbourne, afford a new scale to...
Only problem there is that Tony tweets like an imbecile, where as (it pains me to say), the Whisp does not... His content may be dicey, but his language is adequate.
