Thanks for all of the reports and the video too!
So injury wise, what are we looking at?
Henry obviously a slow comeback, could be round 6 at a guess before he’s ready
Collard on modified now, doing laps?
Maybe something up with Hunter restricted to bike?
the recruit Barratt may have pinged...
Personally I’d like to see Marshall ‘resting’ forward more and us playing a 2nd ruck, like Heath or Boyd, as against having all of Max Cooper Hammer and Owen’s in the team. I don’t see a spot for Caminiti at this stage, unless it’s in defence, but I don’t think they’ll send him there.
I think with the significant list overhaul, even if we miss 2025 he’ll be totally fine internally. 2026 would become quite pressurised in this scenario though, it’s only natural. Ideally we get some injury luck this year and if so I can see us returning to September. Worst case scenario is no...
Are they really? Screw them honestly. He seems comfy with us I’d say, but I also think he’d be the one guy closest to the RTB coal face, so I hope he has the personality to handle that.
Agree with these sentiments! Wondering though, has the Enright succession plan ever been discussed formally by the Club? Personally I think it’s fairly plain to witness, and I’m 100% all for it. Sydney/Melbourne mould.
If he stays injury free, Hunter is going to put some serious egg on faces. Very under-rated player with great upside still, most players who’d endured what he has would no longer be in the game. One of my favourites, has literally bled for the RWB over and over again, can’t wait to see what 2025...
Well according to that very recent Bunnings ruling and some of the language coming out of it, especially this --
"We can’t change our face. The Privacy Act recognises this, classing our facial image and other biometric information as sensitive information, which has a high level of privacy...
Interesting, will have a proper look, but 3.2 states “for what is reasonably necessary” and refers directly to MCC functions, so it’s far from watertight legally and not close to prescriptive of what they’re actually doing.
I wonder the response if I sent them an email saying as a non-MCC...
It’s funny how we went from needing gun/elite mid talent when we were getting pantsed during the real stuff, to not drafting a mid with either of our top 10 draft picks, to having dramatically improved our midfield. It really is good going.
And yes I realise I write this as Palantir is up nearly 400% YTD and worth $187bn. It’s the future but it doesn’t mean we have to like it or accept it and the AFL/Laura Kane show don’t know shite from shinola.
When was is made legal to scan the public with facial recognition software linked to either proprietary or G’ment based data? Were people consulted and what boundaries were set? Sounds like someone took the top off a barrel-fire.
Condition of entry, that’s a laugh, I’ve not a thing to hide but...
Facial recognition cameras? Is that even legal? What is it a system live-checking to a proprietary AFL banned-list database or what? Or are we throwing everyone else into that scope of being able to be detected and stopped? If no real-time monitoring do we have Statler and Waldorf sitting in...
100% Joff don’t worry I get it, and where would we be without a little positivity aye?? FWIW I actually share a lot of the upwards sentiment posted in here, despite the cynical posts at times, I think in an even competition and with a bit of injury luck we’re a chance to leap-frog into the...
Also think McRae into that midfield - again please god stays fit - could be an inspired move. Exactly what was required and hoping he’s got some time left yet.
