That is similar to what I proposed above, except I suggested hitouts should only be worth 1, as it's a category that only ruckmaen can score in, and that contested marks should be rated higher than ordinary training drill type marks due to the degree of difficulty. But all good.
Okay, what about ratings of 2 for score, kicks, handballs, tackles and contested marks, and ratings of 1 for ordinary marks, hit outs, spoils, clearances and/or disposal efficiency. Would that make the rankings better?
I've removed my vote for clearances, so now clearances and disposal efficiency are tied. Be interested yo see what the rankings look like if disposal efficiency replaced clearances in the chosen 9.
I also find that category system is more team based whereas points systems favours individual players more. Your team in category needs to be strong overall rather than just having disposal magnet midfielders.
I'm a bit unclear on what this means. Can you pick up players that others have delisted or just those that you, yourself have either not included on your keepers?
I do like this idea, as it would reduce the number of donuts for these rounds.
Also we need to decide on player pool swaps allowed. I don't mind on 0, 5, or 10 during the season, as long as there in some restriction. If there is no restriction, the obvious tactic would be to have say 15 or so...
