That is right - Div 1 is NEAFL. If you saw clearances during the season you would of seen all the Div 1 players across clubs change to NEAFL.

AFC2. You able to shed some light on my post regarding Ainslie entering a Div 4 side next season. As suspected the Div 3/4 thread has been unable to answer.

I asked the question over in the CD's thread but don't know that I will get a reply. Is Ainslie putting a Div 4 side in next season? Thinking of going to play there when I get back to Canberra and no doubt I'd start off there, being new.

So Ainslie are apparently entering a Div 4 side next season? How are they looking for numbers to make that decision? How are the north side teams (Belco, Eastlake, ANU I guess) looking for numbers? Still looking for some where to rent for when I come back next year and also some where to...

There is always intention but reading between the lines, is it a hint that you aren't confident of filling a Div 4 side? There is nothing wrong with that, you can't make people come and play. I hope it works out for the club either way. How long does the club think before being competitive...

Some mail I received is suggesting the Jets may not have a Div 4 next season. Any Jets guys on here heard anything? If this happens will a lot of the older guys in Div 4 give it up or help out in Div 3? How is the coach hunt going? Not real good for the club or the League if this happens.

Having spoken to a couple of players from both Tuggies and Belco, they speak highly of you. If you want/like a challenge, you should approach the Jets about heading up the Div 2 side, should the opportunity arise :D

That is correct, 3's should be fielded first. If a club submits the teams to ACTAFL prior to Saturday and then by part way through the 4's they have people pull out, injured in warm up or whatever, can't do much about that. If you cannot foresee problems then you can not mitigate against them...
