Sounds like your close to the inner sanctum down there. 1st person to say they have some talent left. Can you tell us more? Your last line about unknown recruits! What do you know/heard there? And as I said in an earlier post I hope Nolan has a good year or 2 at Pacco.
Do you know how many...
The grape vine says Jacana are in a spot of trouble. This cant be good for the EDFL's plans of 3 divisions. Could be a nother club they need to find as the mail is they wont get on the park this year. Anyone know anything concrete here?
Sorry Hulk but you are not correct
He did not return after being told and yes that is an issue. Part of the Craigieburn problem all round is a lot of the players have trouble with not getting their own way.
Just looked at the clearences and only 7 denied at Craigieburn on the list today.
It could be for various reasons (1) Unfinancial (2) Still have equipment in posession (3) May still be trying to keep some.
A bit more to it from what I've heard thou. Something to do with existing contacts and...
Interesting Hulk!
Unfortunately your informer is a little off the mark.
He never reappeared at training once told he wasn't captain.
And that is from a very very good source with no reason what so ever to be bias.
I think you need to delve a little deeper with your information...
The issue is bigger than that. If and I say if the by-laws state that unfinancial clubs are inelligible to play for points there may only be handfull of clubs who can qualify for finals even this far out from the end of the season. Meaning a club who could be struggling and only win 1 game...
Interesting to say the least. I mentioned in an earlier post about unfinancial clubs and what is in the EDFL by-laws about not being eligible to play for points. Does anyone know any further information on this. It could be interesting to get some fed back from those who know the by-laws or...
Hulk I'm not fighting a battle. Just asked a few questions of yet none have been answered truthfully. A couple of answers I would expect from a three year old spoilt brat but apart from that very little at all. Answers so far: Dont want to play against my old club! Please. Refused more money...
WOW with a dummy spit like that I think you should change your online name.
Only reporting what I saw. Just fortunate enough to be around with other club training venues being close by. And as far as the 18s go I know for a fact that they are only getting 7-8 U18s each night due to cricket...
I have spoken to quite few people and the indications are most of ones leaving the club have had it their own way for along time and always wrote their own ticket into the ones Now they have to work for it and no certaintees to be selected the easy option is to go lower and continue to write...
Interesting talk about Craigieburn made me go look at the clearences on EDFL website.
I found 21 players looking for a clearence I also found 21 looking to be cleared to Craigieburn that would indicate player numbers haven't changed. Also of interest was that it appears all players wanting to...
Lots of rumours going around at present! The interesting thing about the rumours is the destination these players are reported to be heading in! If they are going and they are as good as we are made to believe why are they going to B Grade clubs and not getting snapped up by A grade clubs...
Re: EDFL "A" Grade - 2010
Wow I'm amazed at how out of touch with time and cost people become!
Lets look at the figures:
21 players on $150.00 each per game $3150.00 per game
18 rounds makes it $59400.00
Now we all know there are players on a bit more than that so try a break up as...
Re: EDFL "A" Grade - 2010
Sempai can you tell me which division you are from?
I know of few clubs who are each paying 3 players just over 90k between them so they are well over the 100k I would guess.
Re: EDFL "A" Grade - 2010
It would appear that the subject of money has created a bit of discussion and hit a nerve or two.
The question I’m still looking for the answer to is: Will the competition decline in the next 2 or 3 years as the wells dry up at each club and players start to move...
Re: EDFL "A" Grade - 2010
With the introduction of more and more ex AFL players and many clubs already paying what I would call above the odds for some not such good quality players. Can the clubs sustain this form of spending in the long term?
I would assume NO so will we see a huge departure...
Banning the sale of alcohol at Senior games will not stop the issues that occur.
From my own observations the trouble during game times usually results from the bogans that take their own esky in the back of a ute which is usually full of mixed drinks not beer.
Ban the taking of alcohol...
Re: EDFL "A" Grade - 2010
Real football being played in London "About time"
On a serious note:
What is the response like from the locals in Londan to Local Aussie rules football?
How serious is the competition?
