Plenty of players get tagged, yet you don't see Pendlebury, Ablett, Murphy, Hayes, etc. commit the low acts. The other bloke with form in this area is his old team mate Daniel Kerr - both great footballers, but probably not the best blokes.

The incident wasn't worthy of being cited, but it was a low act. It baffles me why a champion footballer needs to resort to dirty underhanded tactics like this. It's not an isolated incident (eg. pressure points, Pav hit). Is he simply a sh!t bloke?

It didn't work out too well for the Bombers under Matthew Knights.

I continue to like the way the umpires are letting more time elapse before blowing the whistle for a bounce. It results in a more free flowing game, so thumbs up to whoever came up with that idea. I disliked watching the way Carlton played on Friday night - they were very impressive.

The umpiring was horrible yesterday, but didn't cost us the game. By my count, the eagles got 4 or possibly 5 goals from blatant umpiring mistakes. Why don't the umpires just focus on the obvious ones and let the rest go? Reflects very poorly on Gieschen and Demetriou.
