My brother has played with Jack at club level some years ago with the Rovers. He is mildly skilled with super agility. As far as I know he is on the Oakleigh Development list and is handy player. Disappointing how he is talking himself up on this though, let others do the praising if suitable...
I believe their next game is on the 11th of next month at Visy Park vs the U16's Metro according to their agenda on the tac site. Should be an interesting game as the 16's are very good and the 17's have some enormous talent..
How is the depth of the year 12's at Carey. Only Simon Harris :thumbsu: is named at a TAC club.. and Ceppi on the summer training squad list. Any other players that should or could dominate the competition..
I an old Scotch boy you twat...
Scotch don't have any stars but their depth is good. They may start loosing some now but they are defiantly better than MGS and BGS and those schools. They will be on the way up in the next few years..
How Scotch have gone undefeated until now surprises me. Their stars are their youngens but in saying that the only real quality side they have played at full strength have been MGS. Will be interesting to see how they match up against the likes of Caulfield and Xavier..
Why do you doubt Carey so much? They have proven to be a competitive side and you continue to hype up the boys from grammar after they have put on 3 pitiful performances..
Going by last weeks game vs MGS, Carey seem to have a solid back 6 and with harris out it will be interesting who will fill that role. Possibly the full back or wooldridge..
Player that stood out last week that really need to step up this week to get over the line in my opinion are Jaksch...
WestCoastWizkid, James is absolute freakshow! I'm not sure what games you were watching, but I attended the prestigious Scotch vs MGS game and he was clearly the best player on the field, 32 touches and 13 marks. Went well with his 7 tackles and 8 rebound 50's. If he doesn't go FS he is a...
My apologies, the boys names Toby Wooldridge. Private school boy from Carey Grammar. Saw the Carey vs MGS game and he stood well amongst older bodies. Showed to have a good mark and solid defensive skills. For a 16 yo he looks the sorts, round 187cm and 83kg. Will be interesting to see if he...
Ysaye, Your input to this sells you in a poor light. Have we forgotten that last years no. 9 pick stood 175cm. Hardly last round mate. And young Viney stands 177cm and if he hadn't gone FS he would have been 2012's no. 1 draft pick. Clearly the best for his age and sub 180.
A few boys didn't play the first practice game due to school commitments. A boy that impressed me through the recent carnival games was an Oakleigh boy, I'm not quite sure of his surname but its along the lines of woolbidge or something a rather. Didn't get a invite to the training squad, very...
I believe Caulfied over Xavier in a tighter game than predicted.
Scotch over Wesley, only due to the large amount of metro players that will be missing from the Wesley line up.
Carey over Brighton in a close one.
MGS will demolish Hailbury, after losing 3 games under 10 points they are sure to...
matt merlo exceptionally dangerous 16 year old in year 11 at xavier, should make vic metro and will certainly require a tag.
a few observations and questions after round 3...
Wesley very beatable side
Caulfield clear premierships favourites
Xavier able to preform without guns could be dangerous...
