I hate it when I am pessimistic going into a game, however, I don't think we will win this. The weird thing is that I don't care as long as it is not by 4/5 goals or more.

Just flicked over and saw them playing the Bulldogs. I know this is not their normal jumper, but goodness I think it almost should be.

If the commentators are right then what's the one advantage of not kicking a goal in the first quarter? We have only ever done it twice in the past and both times we made it to the grand final.

Have heard from a rabid NRL fan of mine (who happens to be at the game) that it is a problem affecting all codes. There has been a crazy amount of rain over the last month and there is some sort of root rot that they can't get rid of.

I liked hearing the coach's thoughts. Not often we get to hear from them during the game.

Seeing the way he positions himself and leads others, the prospect of him being a back line coach is not all that farfetched.

Whenever I'm watching the game, I almost feel relieved when I see him in a back 50 contest. I feel like everything is safe and I'm gonna be ok lol. Just like when Mum would tuck me into bed. Lol

I wholeheartedly agree with the OP. Sure he has done a few things we may not like, however, I truly believe the AFL is a far stronger code because of him. I have a number of 'League' friends, who have told me many times, that they wish they had someone the calibre of Demetriou leading their sport.

When I saw this thread I immediately thought of Kerr. I was trying to think to the way he currently plays and I still think we protects the ball a lot more than other players, however, I don't think it is the full tuck he used to.
