Toast Our skipper - Darren Glass

I know there are a lot of player threads, but glass this finals series had been so immense, he's stepped up as captain and completely dominated on defence.

There was recently a poll as to who our greatest full back is, I voted macintosh, might have to change that...

Yeah I feel the same way. I mean, Mcintosh was incredible, but after the last couple of weeks I have trouble saying anyone is better than Darren Glass at anything.

I love Darren Glass he has been bloody awesome the last few weeks. He seriously deserves his certain AA FB position this year.

All though he could of cost us the game with a few fumbles late in the 4th!! haha

Whenever I'm watching the game, I almost feel relieved when I see him in a back 50 contest. I feel like everything is safe and I'm gonna be ok lol. Just like when Mum would tuck me into bed. Lol

Massive game again from Glass, he's really a great leader now. When the rest of the defence seem to lose their heads he always keeps his.

Have absolute faith whenever he is in a contest. So underrated by the general football public as a Full Back. Practically peerless.

Robbed by a bad bounce for that Garlett goal tonight though.

He attacks every contest the same. Hard as hell and determined to take the ball. If he doesn't take the ball he will take the man.

Just does not lose 1-on-1 contests, in the air or on the deck.

Didn't think a backmen could be as inspirational as he has been this season. Simply sensational stuff, Glassy.

I should have titled the thread with this - Captain! My Captain!

So inspirational, at one point he had 2 carlton blokes against his, he smashed one of them into the other bloke and won the contest, he's tough as nails and i actually can't remember him being outmarked this finals series?

He is awesome. That two on one contest where he barrelled into one of them taking out the other player aswell summed up Glassy perfectly.
