It is what it is. We’re they successful?
No.
But the club and culture haven’t been for a decade.
Thanks for the effort, and move on. No need to stick the boot in.
That is why he has been on ignore for years.
A whiney little biatch, who if he was actually competent would be an actual recruiter.
His attacks on this kid and Darling are * level scurrilous.
I am curious to hear your thoughts on the combined Trade/Draft period. In my mind they cannot be separated. My take is that the club has recruited for need this year and done it quite well.
Exactly this. I think that Cable was our greatest ever player. It breaks my heart that he achieved all that he did whilst committing those terrible crimes.
Actions have consequences, it just takes some people a lifetime to work that out.
2025:
Everyone: the list managers need to do something, we have been so shit for so long it has to change.
List Manager: does something.
Everyone: not that you idiot, my dead grandmother could do better.
2026:
Rinse and repeat.

Could be worse, we could follow St Kilda.
Will not be surprised to see him picked up and thrive somewhere else.
He was always the icing, and we have sucked for his entire tenure.
Give him a defined role with good players and he will be back in the game.
I wonder how much of dickhead you must be to abuse a person that has just lost their job.
He did something you and I will never do, they got to play for the best club in the land.
Just a pity we don't have the best supporters in the world all the time.
Very happy with North’s effort this year.
Added three experienced players of quality to help the kids. That can not be underestimated as to how much we need that.
Four players in, still have our first round pick (hope they split it), and each one fills a need.
Taken as a package of four players, Brady did well.
Whining about pick 25 being overs is ridiculous, outside of the first round it is speculation, nothing more.
There are some seriously sad ****s here.
I love the idea of Darling and Parker adding leadership and mentoring to the younger players.
Add in Daniels and Huoston and that is a massive haul.
If you look on, or deride any individual recruit in isolation, then you really don’t do team activities very well.
