Not about the club, its about the ground. Seem silly not to be using this oval as it is in great nick. Coughlin parks surface is not good and the surrounds are terrible to watch footy for spectators. Dimboola is the pick of places for the Grand Final, pretty happy with that choice !

Interesting to see that the Wimmera League is not using Horsham City Oval for any finals, seems a bit of a waste!

Definitely too many teams. There needs to be some mergers first and then the division one / division two scenario. They would need to work out some sort of points system (similar to Champion Club award) that was a bit more comprehensive to assist working out who played where.

Pretty sure Tom Eckel is coaching Stawell next year.

They sacked their Assistant coach last Wednesday. Apparently to do with an altercation he had with a senior player when they were playing Saints. Players not happy with the way he spoke to them and neither were the committee.

Chances are he won't miss the grand final anyway if they find he has a case to answer. The league have 21 days to investigate and they already have a few in the pipeline, so this one will be at the bottom of the list. It's not about missing the grand final, it's about making people accountable...

Not sure where you got your info from, but Horsham would have won by about 10 goals. Not that it really matters anyway, it was a practice match.

There will be some great games this weekend and has been a great year for WFL. I have a feeling that Stawell will actually beat Ararat this week but I think Dimboola will get done by MM, which will keep Dimboola in the five. Not that I think Dimboola will last too long in the finals. Good luck...

What an absolute cracker of a game at the City Oval yesterday! Ararat are the real deal and their kids played fantastically. They are very fit and fast. The finals this year are going to be fantastic!!

Rhona will be 17 in June. He is an awesome kid and is sporting the best mullet in the league!! Is interested in Rebels but was injured (foot) during the selection process. Pretty sure he is on their injury list and won't be long before he will be added to selection list.

How can any club be guaranteed a 'gig'. They still have to have the numbers to field sides each week. The league can't guarantee that!!
