We would be derelict in our duty if we weren’t going hard at NWM… Trade into this years draft for the hope of an A grade mid, or the hope of trading it next year for an A grade mid - which option do we have more of a chance of implementing?

Maybe…but wouldn’t it be worth it for us to provide an incentive to get a first round midfielder a year early? I would much rather over pay a bit of draft capital and get what we need in a area of need than trying to build slowly and still fail to have the quality in the team when we need it...

Just showing the similar trade GWS has completed. Both look fair and even at best. Glad we did it to get to the pointy end, but you could make arguments either way that it could have been very different result - the risk/reward of future trading.
