We’ve had many false dawns before as we all know but I do think it’s starting to feel different. But I couldn’t agree more with you, those 3 have made our midfield so much tougher and more efficient, all compliment each other very well. We no longer rely on Merrett, Parish and Shiel racking them...
I find it all in good humour at the end of the day, can’t get too worked up over it. Can’t really blame supporters of both our clubs when we hate each other with a passion, combined with the bitterness of both being unbelievably shit for so long.
I think both of our clubs have hopefully...
I’ve always liked Parish, but honestly at the start of the year I would’ve been happy to trade him off and hopefully get a late first/early second. This was mainly due to the fact that we already have multiple small midfielders and could try rectify that balance a bit. But wow, his turnaround...
Would love to trade this guy for a second rounder. Was brilliant and loved him in 2018 but is already starting to looked cooked. If we bring in Caldwell/constable/ohalloran for instance there is just no room for him in the midfield and he will just be playing half back like he is anyway. We have...
I’d argue we need an outside mid with good kicking skills just as much as an inside mid. When Bellchambers has played we’ve actually been fine in clearances. Still would like another inside mid too tho... and another ruck.
Who are the best ITKs going around here? Don’t think we have any on our board, but I know Carlton has some good ones that I like to have a peep as to what’s they’re saying.
Blues posters pretty confident Martin will be theirs. Personally not too fussed either way. If he can play on a wing for us I believe that fills a need, but can he?
Have you always thought that or only this year? Because I often thought at Essendon he looked like that, and not just in his last year either when he said he was going. I think he just has a sooky attitude.
Are Pies still in with a chance at May? Would’ve thought KPP a much much bigger need. However, Beams is a gun and will make their midfield even stronger, look out!
I think it’s pretty clear that whilst Shiel had not yet made up his mind, his management were likely playing clubs off against each other and getting them to increase offers. Connors is a master at making clubs think they’re in the box seat. This is probably what made so many Carlton and Hawks...
