Hello fellow St Kilda folk, I know this is the wrong thread to post non training topics but I know it's where most of us are lurking over summer. I posted about this over at Saintsational regarding the AGM I think was held yesterday, did anyone here go!?
Anyway just wonder if anyone asked if...
Congratulations Cats Supporters!
You couldn't have played any better.
I'm a massive Chris Scott fan.
Hey I'm curious to know what the general feel is towards the boy from Cairns Saints
He looked like he went ok last night and looking a little more comfortable in the team.
What's his season...
We are still 2 or 3 years from knowing if this current build will be flag capable. I expect we will still be a North-type middle of the ladder side, meaning if we have incredible luck with injuries then we could make finals but just be making up the numbers.
But equally our list is still very...
Place 10k on the Saints to beat the flag favorites, it's why I don't have to work. I'm thinking about writing a book on the secret to my success story, I owe the St Kilda Football club so much for the luxury in my life.
TV rights is even chump change these days...it's those good ole gambling rivers of gold that intoxicate the AFL executive these days.
And guess which games each round are amongst the most lucrative games for gambling revenue, that's right, Sunday afternoon games.
Why?
Because for the addicted...
I'm very excited about the new deal, based on him giving one good game every 15 games, the new deal should see him deliver as much as 4 to 6 good games over the term of this next contract.
I'm a big fan and hoping he can take Max's spot in the forward line and Max get moved into the head of...
I’d like to see a similar intent and aggressive focus to the one he bought last week, anything less will disappoint me. He will get more attention this week from the Lions and you’d expect the Lions defence won’t be as limp as Essendons.
My boy Coops has still got to prove he can deliver on a consistent basis but he's very appreciative so far of all the feedback I've taken time to give him to this point in his career.
Yep, all good an well to give those types of performance when the season has long been over and you are worried about being on an AFL list the following season, we need to see it when a game is on the line from Round 1.
But I enjoyed the win and the way some of the players played.
Essendon stank, make no bones about it?
But we did what teams should do when they play teams that are stinking it up, and that is play your way and let the scoreboard take care of itself.
Lots of our players had really good games and the forward line is looking better every week without Max...
Very common thing happening to Mitch, the opposition put more work into him because of the interest he created with his 2023 performances, if he's on he can win us games so it stands to reason the opposition puts work into taking his strengths away from us.
Some players can't go to that next...
The game has saddened me this week, the treatment of Adam Simpson by the media and that front page by the West Australian was absolutely disgraceful. Just un human behaviour.
I apologise in advance as I know this is not the pace for this post but just wanted to get that off my chest.
I'm looking forward to seeing if Sharamn can take his opportunity while King is out. But let's remind ourselves Sharman puts one good game in every 20 so he needs to grab his opportunity and build consistency
